Rin’s sisters only very rarely let her play with their hair. Keiichiro is more than happy to let her play with his, braiding and unbraiding and doing various things with it.

Masaya and homare- 3, 12, 22, 29, 30

3: Most common argument

Over whether Pluto is a planet or not. Masaya says it's not; Homare thinks he's a monster for it.

12: Who initiates kisses?

Masaya!

22: Who cooks more?

Homare cooks more but when Masaya cooks he goes really into it and makes more elaborate meals.

29: Sad hc

Masaya had a heart attack at a fairly young age. He survived it, but it came very out of the blue and Homare honestly does not remember much of anything in the hospital waiting room. She kind of just shut down, but her friends and family took over, looking out for her kids and making sure she got something to eat and that she had someone's hand to hold in one of the scariest times of her life.

30: And a hc that makes it better...

Masaya and Homare eloped. Masaya proposed when they finished undergrad and were about to join a group of environmental scientists as interns. The proposal was a little last-minute because Masaya had a 'what am I waiting for?' moment and just asked her. Homare said yes. Then they decided 'Why wait?' and said that they wanted to get married before they left for their internship.

In a week.

Friends and family came through spectacularly in getting them married in three days, so that they could spend a few days alone before their trip. It was a wild and crazy three days, but it was absolutely perfect and amazing and they were so very happy and just glad to be married.

8: Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

Rin calls Keiichiro "Muffin Man", though they will frequently call each other by a series of cute food-related names. It's what happens when you fall in love while working as bakers in a Cafe.

23: Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines?

Keiichiro. Some of them go right over Rin's head because she just sometimes does not get Earth and human things. On the rare occasion she gets the pick up line, she either laughs or grins and her cheeks turn pink, and that makes Keiichiro happy.

26: What would be their theme song?

29: One headcanon about your OTP that breaks your heart... (With a touch of 30, and the hc that mends it for good measure)

I've mentioned their three kids--their twins and a son--but before the twins were born, Rin and Keiichiro had a still-born daughter. Understandably, neither of them were in a good mental or emotional place for some time, especially after struggling with infertility for a long time before that and a few miscarriages, and their family and friends were afraid that they were drifting apart, that this might break them apart. It almost did. Then, about three months after they lost their daughter, they come to a breaking point that could have destroyed their marriage but instead they realized that what they really needed to do was stop trying for a child and stop focusing on that and focus on each other. They could still mourn, and grieve, but they needed to do it together. And that they needed to get away from Tokyo, and they avoided Cynnth for the same reason they wanted to get away from Tokyo--they needed to just get away for a while and go somewhere new, different, where they hadn't faced loss. So they took a sabbatical from the Cafe and traveled the world, sampling desserts, learning new techniques, trying new things, having new experiences together. They just focused on having a good time together, and healing, and fell in love all over again.

Let's just say, a few weeks after they finally returned to Tokyo, Rin learned that she was pregnant with the twins.

(Also, I swear not all of my sad OTP headcanons involve babies...)

A moment of silence for Keichiro who is forever making birthday cakes for all his friends/familys kids

Are you kidding? He loves every minute of it. Plus, he varies it up based on the kid's preferences so sometimes it's not cake at all but a different type of pastry or dessert.

Pie and Lettuce's kiddos: Jasumin and her twin brother, Oregano; their son, Bajiru; daughter, Indigo; and baby girl Botan, who was very much a surprise baby. All the kiddos are five years apart; Pie and Lettuce are still trying to figure out how that happened because it certainly wasn't intentional on their part.

Kisshu and Ichigo: Their elder daughter is named Sakura and their younger daughter is named Lila, and there is a son, Kumin, between the two.

Masaya and Homare: Their eldest and only son, Daiki, and oldest daughter Himawari are the only two biological children. They have two other daughters that they adopted: Suisen, who... kind of got ding-dong-ditched as a baby on Masaya and his half-sibs at their bio father's funeral (because a leopard cannot, in fact, change its spots) and Masaya and Homare basically volunteered to take responsibility for her; they also adopted Tsubaki, Himawari's classmate and an orphan, as a third-year middle school student. Tsubaki made friends with Himawari and Lila, and accidentally found the boarded up lab in the basement of Cafe Mew Mew and decided to move in. After she was found, she was told that wasn't going to fly and Masaya and Homare agreed to foster her, and eventually adopted her.

Pudding and Tart: They have four kids, daughters Hinageshi, Deiji, and Marīgōrudo (often shortened to Mari) and a son, Shinamon (nicknamed Shina), who is the second youngest.

Mint and Shinji: Hiyashinsu and Kosei.

Keiichiro and Rin: twins Panji and Sumire, and son Shiso.

Ryou and Zakuro: Fujie, Takahiro, and Chūrippu.

Riri and Zen: they have a daughter named Shirayuri. Riri decided one was enough, and Shirayuri had enough cousins to get the 'not an only child' experience.

Jade and Jalapeno: son Shishito is the oldest, followed by Rubi and Emerald.

Cayenne and Topaz: Son Rocoto, daughter Amethyst, twin sons Pimento and Habanero, and son Mylo is the baby of the family.

Chile eventually marries and he and his husband adopted a baby girl named Jemi from his husband's home planet, and eventually adopt two young teenagers from Cynnth who were troublemakers, a girl named Ame and a boy named Tsuri, who are not biologically related but have a sibling-like bond.

Rozu and Daisuke stay friends growing up, shared a kiss as teenagers that made things awkward, then they didn't see each other for years, and then re-found each other and re-fell in love as adults. So Rozu has a step-daughter, named Bara, and after getting married had a set of triplets, all of whom I have yet to name.

Au: what are the gangs houses like? (also does jade have a job?)

Eh the only one who has a fairly special house is Pudding and Tart and that's because they inherited the Fong family home. The rest are a lot like the one Ichigo lives in in the OG anime.

Okay, so, Jade ends up going traveling with the Capsicum sibs and Topaz after the finale and they explore other planets and such. Long story short, Jade and Cayenne inadvertently got the attention of this intergalactic space cop agency (think "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command") and get hired and basically get paid to travel to these other planets and do investigations and Jade is the team tech wizard because of course she learned alien tech without much effort.

Ryou and Zakuro and Masaya and Homare have dogs, Ichigo and Kisshu have a cat, and Pie and Lettuce have successfully gotten their kids to believe that this one goldfish has lived an extraordinarily long life for far longer than they ever intended to.
