“i was gay and dying” is such an iconic line

I mean those two things are objectively constant - I’m always gay (even if I didn’t consciously realize it for a very long time) and we are all dying a gradual death by oxidation if nothing else

but I was gay and dying and it was the classic gay combo of ‘both want to be that and also maybe a lil bit sexual except as we know I have Issues With That but the admiration was there’

I’m hardly the first person to utter those lines but god it’s such a real feeling

thank you so much!! it definitely is, and the funny thing is my gyno was like “I WOULD’VE CALLED YOU, I HAD NO IDEA!” when i told her i have really bad anxiety and this was extremely difficult for me. i didn’t even think that people in the medical community would... actually... take my mental illnesses into account and help me lmao oops
