This piece was unveiled at the Washington State Convention Center in 2012. It was a featured piece at the display garden led by @drdecks on the main show floor for the Northwest Flower and Garden show where I worked for a number of years as a heavy equipment operator.. If I recall we got the first choice audience award that year at flower and garden. Dr Decks was already a rock star but had blown up so much since then. Advena Vasculum was the first piece of mine that had glass and LEDs and the first time I collaborated with the talented @blytheglassartanddesign. A couple of years later Advena Vasculum was part of the Conjoined IIII exhibition at Copro Gallery at Bergamont Station, and WOW! I have never seen a line like that for an art show before, 4 deep and around the block. I met many fabulous artists at that show including Ave Rose and Rick Zar, since then Rick has become a good friend and collaborator. After that Advena Vasculum came back to Seattle for the two-man show Un/Reattached exhibition with one of my other favorite collaborators John Osgood.
