Others would probably want lavish dinner, birthday cakes or perhaps a luxurious stay in a 5 star hotel for their birthday. But one of my birthday wish this year was camping with my husband and son at Belum Adventure Camp. I wanted to go somewhere we have to put away both our gadgets and watch and just enjoy the moment together. Come Sept 2, I didn't get to go to BAC, but the next best thing. Scored myself a retreat with #tedmiMalaysia at Wave Rest House&Cafe, which is probably the best birthday present I've ever received all these years. I get to go on quite an adventure and spend a really memorable time with husband and son and get to know so many wonderful and inspiring people during the retreat.
