I’ve always been hopeless at html coding and such, and with the theme I have there’s just a place on the ‘customize’ page where you can upload a picture/gif and it works, so I guess it’s easier on some themes than others…
I tried the upload background image thing, but it just puts it in the top left corner behind my links and I really don't want it there and I can't figure out how to move it, and I've tried using instructions on adding backgrounds but I don't understand how to make it work. ;____;
