20 years ago @bethorton released her classic Central Reservation album. I feel so grateful to have been involved. It was always so good working with Beth, our photo sessions were always fun, relaxed and often spontaneous. I think Beth is the first artist I started photographing with a more natural / documentary approach. We would hang out and I got to visit the recording studio a few times during the making of this record so it feels more personal to me as well as being a massive privilege. The photos for Central Reservation including this photo for the single 'Stolen Car' were taken during a short West Coast US tour. It was pretty cool spending a week or so on the road with Beth.
