Summary: Evan returns home on New Years Eve after being on tour for three months. He's happy to see his friends, hear what's been going on in their lives, because he's really missed them (some more than others). It's a promising start of a new year, and he's hopeful to answer some questions that have been haunting him since one strange night he can't seem to shake.

But then he wakes up the next day, and everything's changed. And he's not sure if his friendships will make it through the fallout.

MiniCat Drabble

(A/N): This isn’t the story bit where the author’s not will make someone mad. This was something I wrote in one of the Discord groups I’m in, and I wanted to share it, no matter how short it is.

(The inspiration for this is; In Mini’s newest Tradeoff video, Tyler says he’s afraid of storms. I don’t care if it was a joke or not, I wanted to write something based off of how I thought it could go if it was an actual thing. Craig gets to comfort Tyler in his time of need in this short n’ sweet little drabble)

Tyler was ‘the tough boyfriend’ out of the two of them. He wasn’t scared to get into a fight, and he wasn’t afraid to put someone in their place if they even thought about Craig in a bad way.

Then again; Craig never expected Tyler to go completely silent and press his face into his neck at the first clap of thunder outside from the storm that had rolled in without either of them realizing it.

“What’s wrong? Craig asked, not sure what to do, having never seen Tyler like he was ever before, “Are you feeling alright, Tyler?”

“M’fine,” Tyler mumbled, pressing closer to Craig, a slight shiver wracking his body even as he spoke, “Just wanna be close to you is all.”

“That’s BS and we both know it. You never cuddle unless we’re in the bedroom. What’s wrong, Tyler?”

“Nothin’, stop ask- “

Thunder rolled outside yet again, Tyler letting out a small whine, trying to ignore the tears that threatened to make an appearance from how scared the storm was making him despite knowing it couldn’t actually hurt him.

“Are you... are you afraid of thunderstorms?” Craig asked, shocked at such a revelation, hearing a huff of denial despite how tightly Tyler was clinging to him, “Tyler, are you- “

“So what if I am, alright?!” Tyler pushed out through grit teeth, shaking his head, “If you fuckin’ tell anyone, I will not hesitate to seal your mouth shut with superglue.”

Craig said nothing, instead pulling Tyler closer to his side, reaching over and grabbing the throw blanket on the couch and pulling it over the two of them, Tyler pulling away just far enough to look up at him as he did.

“I’ll stay right here with you until the storm passes,” Craig promised, keeping his arm tightly around him, “You don’t have to be afraid while I’m here, Tyler.”

Tyler said nothing, instead pressing his face back against Craig’s neck, sighing softly as he felt himself calm down in the comfort of his boyfriend’s embrace.

And even if the thunder rolled more times after that, he didn’t feel afraid in the comfort and protection of Craig holding him.

Surprise! It's a Christmas miracle that I managed to finish these because these are last minute ideas lol. I'm just glad that I did it. Headcanon for minicat and basicallyido407?

Minicat

-They both put on each other's glasses and do the whole "Woa, you're so blind!" thing even though they're both blind as fuckin bats

-They love their dogs more than they love each other, and spoil them relentlessly (Craig likes to buy Kino doggie outfits, and Tyler may pretend to hate them but he doesn't)

-Tyler tries to steal his boyfriend's clothes but everything is always just a bit too small- Craig might be cozy in a stolen t-shirt, but Tyler looks like he's wearing a crop top (he's got a little more chub to love)

-Tyler likes to join in on the meme streams and backseat comment, but he's basically Craig's second gaming chair

-Tyler is an asshole who will put things on the top of the fridge just to spite his boyfriend, thank you very much

-You'd think Craig would be the official interior decorator of their house, but in fact it's Tyler who gets fussy about where throw pillows go and how the curtains should hang

-They sing whatever obnoxious pop song is on the radio while they cook, no matter how off key and terrible their performance may be

-Inseparable; if you see Scotty, Marcel is somewhere nearby and vice versa

-They like to snowboard and ski, but are they any good at it? No, no they're not

-Marcel will complain the whole time if they do actually go skiing

"It's to cooooold, I just wanna snuggle, Scotty."

"We can snuggle when we're dead."

-Whenever they have an opportunity to do a couple's costume, they do it, and they argue about who gets to be the girl every time

-"Scotty, honeybuns, snookums, the light of my life? Can you do the dishes?"

"It's your turn to do the dishes, Marcel."

"THIS IS RACIST."

-Scotty will use the puppy dog eyes on Marcel and it never works, unless Marcel is boozed up to high heavens

-Scotty in the cheerleader outfit but it's every other week and usually has to do with some mundane task or another ("GOOOOO TAKE THE TRASH OUT! YAY! GO TEAM!")

-They go to Disneyland for their anniversary every year, and always buy those silly mickey mouse ears and take a million photos in them
