I still haven't figured out how to photograph knit without it looking so shiny
I'm making a hat for a little girl, and I'm gonna make a matching scarf too. It's my first serious braid work, and I'm really enjoying it.

That post with the crochet mushrooms inspired me so much I went to try and make one myself and I did it! It's not perfect but I love it so much, and I'm feeling so accomplished!
I finished my blouse! The ombre effect is not as good as it could but I love it anyways. It looks like an ice cream.
The pattern is this one:

So, this is the latest blouse I knit. It was actually another project I made two years ago (i think), that I unravelled and remade.
I love this thread because it’s very thin, so I use it double, and you never know what it’s gonna look like in the end.
Got this nice bag of happiness today.
Honestly the only thing that excites me for real lately is knitting, so I'm feeling good now. Even though most of the pieces i'll make are for other people, just doing it makes me feel better.
And this is the detail, these are vikkel braids. They look hard in the start but they are easy to knit! You just have to pay attention because this stitch unravels very easily.
I'll definitely use this stitch again in the future.
