Romacen – The Age of the Witch / Romacen – Vremea vrăjitoarei will be livestreamed on November 19th and December 10th as part of the 2021 Roma Theatre Retrospective

Romacen is Mihaela Drăgan and the Guivlipen theater company's premier work in the genre of Romani futurism, and is a modern take on Roma women's relationship to witchcraft and the witch archetype. As I've said, Romani voices are crucial to this subject-- whether it's art, fiction, history, or contemporary magical practice, if you are interested in witches and witchcraft you need to be seeking out (and supporting) Romani creators. The show will be streamed with subtitles and will also feature an interview with Drăgan.
