hi rizz! i was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your sharpen/save settings, esp when it comes to older movies? i just saw your legolas gifset on my dash and i'm just in awe of how amazing it looks!

Hi ofc and thank you!!! 💜 

My sharpen settings are both in this pack, I generally use “sharper” for bluray or 2160P files and “sharp” for anything else. I play around with the opacity of the gaussian blur filter in the “sharper” set sometimes if it’s a little too crisp! 

These are my save settings: 

I will occasionally use selective instead of adaptive but 99.9% of the time I use adaptive diffusion. 

the Legolas set was giffed using the 4k remastered version of LOTR tho!!!

hi!! where did you download the shadow and bone trailer(s) from? i noticed your gifs are super hq!!

Hi! I got it using Clip Converter from IGN before they took it down haha. I haven’t seen a similarly HQ file anywhere else :/ I tried uploading it to share but doing so compressed it so it’s not even better than the Twitter one. I also tried uploading to YouTube but their algorithm immediately copyright flagged and privated it. If I can think of a better place/way to upload it I will!

1. What’s your favourite creation of yours? And why?

This oneeee, i really wanted to do something different and get better with typography! It took me a whole weekend to finish and I almost gave up [x]

BLENDING!!!!!!!!!

i was just going to do simple captions for this and then i did something more fancy for no reason

47. What advice would you give to someone who’s just started creating?

I can’t stress this enough but just keep going. Don’t stress yourself out comparing your new gifs to everyone else. Don’t be afraid to just reach out to gifmakers and ask politely if they’d mind explaining how they did certain things, I’m sure most of us will take it as a compliment 🧡

48. What inspired you to start creating?

Uh, weirdly enough World of Warcraft. 😅 I used to make character forum signatures for my friends a loooooooong time ago and that’s the reason I first got Photoshop.
