Headcanon that Nathan and Simon regularly call eachother when Nathans in Vegas just to see how their doing. Simon would ask about the baby and Nathan would ask is Simon needed more sex tips.
Then when Nathan got arrested he couldn't call Simon regularly anymore and Simon was worried throughout the whole of season three until he went back in time to go rescue Alisha.
