Just got back from filming my latest Alison's Adventures episodes in Mexico to share: Water Is Life. . As I sit here editing the footage in home sweet grass shack Hawaii, I remember the elders in my fishing village telling me that the word for water in Hawaiian is Wai and wealth is Wai Wai. Water is universal gold whether it is the culture of the Maya or the Polynesians. . Growing up in the jungle as a real life explore just like Dora, I never dreamed one day I’d be walking the red carpet for a film that mirrors my life story. “If you just believe in yourself anything is possible!” is what Dora says in the @doramovie (played by a true treasure @isabelamoner) and I think it’s important message no matter what jungle you grow up in! Wow! What a year!!! From visiting one of the last tribes on earth to witnessing our global plastic crisis and the California fires - all showed me how precious life is AND the nature (water, fire, air, earth) that sustains us!
