May has known Alistair since 1st grade
They met Cupid and Hunter in middle school when May started running Dungeons and Dragons games
Alistair plays a Half Elven Paladin who is currently questioning his God's terms
Hunter is a Changeling Ranger looking for his missing Human family
Cupid surprised everyone with a Drow Necromancer, who is trying to atone for some past crimes
Alistair asked everyone out via group text
This came after Cupid, Hunter and Alistair spent several months trying to flirt with one another and May
May was oblivious and thought Cupid was with Blondie and Alistair was with their Cousin Bunny
Bunny was trying to give Alistair advice
Blondie was trying to speed things up by making the others jealous
Hunter plans the first date
Its a picnic at a secret spot he found while hiking May made the food and drinks
Its at sunset and there is a pillow nest, cupid brought a fluffy comforter
They just talk and eat and watch the stars together
They get sappy and romantic like that on dates
DnD dates are a thing, everyone takes turns running the game
Hunter likes to surprise the others with flower crowns
Alistair does spontaneous dates and adventures, and often sends love Riddles to then
Cupid always has poems and sappy pick up lines at the ready, and is big PDA girl
May pops up to steal their partners for Lunch dates a lot. Always has their fave snack and drinks on them
So much Hand holding and tugging the others along
They all laugh a lot together
But they all also know when to step back and give space as no one wants to choke out all their friends
There is some interesting tension from Apple (that's a different post uwu)
