Late WIP Wednesday

Currently working on these two. Kinda. I haven’t decided on the lighting in the top one yet, I’ve just been messing with some new brushes and experimenting with blending modes.
The first picture is of my Alistairmancer, Rajlin Mahariel. The scene has Raj, ambassador for the new Wycome city council, at Denerim castle protecting king Alistair from a Venatori ambush, 9:42 Dragon. I’m not keen on her hairstyle yet, that will be a little tweaked later. I would like to do a comic of this scene, probably all in greyscale. Someday haha.
Second picture is of Saoirse Hawke and Fenris. She’s not actually hurt, it’s just a symbolic portrait (though I should draw a picture of Fenris picking her up after the battle with the Arishok and calling her foolish. Cool moment for Hawke to walk away from the battle like they do in the game, mine did not ahah! bleeding out in spirit healer). Anyway, I don’t think I, sold on the way Fenris looks, it’s only my second time drawing him. I think….. I also want to show him growing out his hair, so I’ll probably change that (I love him with long hair!)
I’ll be working on the third edition to my Heroes of Thedas portraits soonish. Bet you can’t guess who it is next.
