So, as both a gamer and a brony this has interested me greatly for quite some time. I’ve been following it’s development for years at this point, and I really wanted to bring more attention to it. Please note that I am not involved in it’s creation at all, I am not on the team nor have I met or conversed with any of the devs to my knowledge. The link above has all the info you could want, and the dev himself gives a much better explanation of the game than I could in the AMBIENT PROJECT tab, but I’ll do a quick overview. Ambient.White as It’s now called, is an action adventure game with RPG elements, where you play as the older of two sisters in a world inspired by the world of My little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. However, from the beginning the goal has been to make a great game that just so happens to have ponies in it, rather than to make a game for the brony fandom alone to enjoy. Its combat makes me think of a mix between something out of an anime and the gameplay of Shadows of the Colossus, and the best way I can describe its world is like Cyrodil from The Elder Scrolls IV if it was completely covered in snow and had more technologically arcane structures dotting its landscape. The story focuses on two sisters as they deal with issues in their lives and this world full of dangers in an age long ago. It looks beautiful and enchanting and the guy is about $80 away from his patreon goal of being able to focus full time on the game. I really just wanna spread awareness of this game so it can realize its full potential. They plan on releasing for PC first, and then later for Consoles ( PS4, Xbox One ). As of this moment it does not have a release date, but it has been greenlit on steam.
