just when i had swore that i was over fictional men, chakraborty really had to introduce me to a man that was the mirror of me. ive been told all my life that i take the deen or my faith to seriously and that i should not push my morals everywhere i go, yet seeing alizayd fight again and again for his morals without apologizing for it speaks volumes to me. im so proud of my faith and being a girl in college holding on to the deen is difficult when every man is asking you to let it go, but i won’t let it go, and alizayd has taught me that i shouldn’t feel bad about holding on to my faith, the only thing i have in this very temporary world.
