    Kiran was left mesmerized by the mere sight of the genie. Djinns were reoccurring creatures in the legends of her parents’ archeology expeditions. Granting people wishes that they so desired, though there often were a backside to it. She couldn’t help the smile that appeared by the sight of her, the purple glow clashing her golden. ❝ I didn’t know that djinns actually existed, ❞  she uttered, feeling her heart elevate. These were the stories that Kiran grew up with, some that she held dear. ❝ Where do you come from? I wish to know your story. That is, if I may. ❞ That were, if she desired to tell it. Kiran couldn’t help how fascinated she had become by her presence.

“Honey you don’t need to be ashamed of anything, you just gotta try and look at it in a different light.”Gloved hands pull up the top of his yellow top, revealing a plethora of healed over wounds, some older than others.  All of them healed fast, yet the markings of his misfortunes remained staining his skin.  “You don’t think I could have ran around each and every one of the things that gave me these?  Here look at this one” he traced a fairly large scar running up the side of his torso.  “Captain Cold hit me with an icicle, because I was too busy taunting to watch out for myself.”

Pulling his top back down the redhead gave the Djinn a light tap on the back, a sign of solidarity among the young heroes; being there for each other was their biggest responsibility as teammates  “I got a bit sidetracked but...  What I was trying to say is, don’t be ashamed of having scars, be proud of being alive to show them off.”

         and he thought he’d seen it all.  new york had been filled with super heroes. he’d seen giant lizards and men who dressed up like vultures, but here he was --- weirded out by the sight of someone that looked exactly like a friend. he had to wonder if it was some kind of doppleganger thing, and he hoped that him looking in the other girls direction caused him to speak up “ ------- i’m sorry. you look the spit of someone i know. “

beldima may cause diabetic shock in some folks when her eyes are fully open, so she usually sticks to bedroom eyes
