Hey guys remember when pokemon did a whole livestream where over the course of 110 minutes we found out Pikachu, Morellul and Phantump are in the new game? This seems like a good use of time.
I don't think this band exists anymore but they were a cool local band. Pop/rock with synth and a cool female vocalist
mmm new music CD <3
Whats up everyone,
Last Saturday night (April 9th) TMS played over at Church of Boston by Fenway. It was a flat out amazing show. Our friends All These Elements put the show together for their CD release (You can pick up their phenomenal debut CD HERE).
We opened up the show at 8 and played to an awesome crowd. We had crazy intro planned but had some sound / equipment deficiencies before the show and were unable to pull it off (damn snakes w/o Line inputs!). What ev, we'll do it next time. Anyways, sound was great, the crowd was great, drinks were cheap, and all the bands we played with were great. Couldn't have been a better night. Be sure to check out All These Elements, Green Line Inbound, Life on Hold, and One Step Away if you get the chance. All great bands. Next stop for TMS: Burlington, VT. We are playing a cool little place called the Radio Bean on April 16th at 8 pm, and possibly a house show somewhere up there. Then: We are shipping back down South for another show in Providence, Rhode Island on Sunday April 17th at Firehouse 13. Time TBA (probably around 5 pm). Thanks again to everyone who came out to church!
And check out this hilarious Tumblr that incorporates beautiful women and the unfortunate eye's of Steve Buscemi.
Stay Motivated, The Motivated Sequence
All These Elements at the Sad Cafe!
Tomorrow (Friday, February 4th) will be a DANCE PARTY. Everyone should go to the Sad Cafe at 7pm and support these guys because they're really awesome!
We guarantee some strobe lights!
Band Spotlight: SHINOBI NINJA
Last Saturday we played with Shinobi Ninja, an energetic group from Brooklyn whose music is a mash-up of hip hop, reggae, rock, and metal. Their show was exciting and in your face, the six of them are truly experienced performers. The band has their own app, a free video game fans can download right to their iPhone. Currently, Shinobi Ninja is touring throughout the eastern U.S.
Here's a short clip of Kate jumping on stage during their show.
Band Spotlight: ANAMANAGUCHI
Last week we played with NYC chiptune band Anamanaguchi. The 4 piece stands out among most bands we have performed with due to their unique sound using a Gameboy and Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The mix of 8-bit sounds and rock guitars created an energy the crowd loved. We started out the day with a FIERCE competition at Northeastern University's student center. There were three rounds: 1. Danny vs. Damon (Table Tennis) 2. Eric & Tom vs. James & Pete (foosball) 3. Jay vs. Luke (Super Smash Bros. Brawl) There was some trash talking... ...actually there was a lot of trash talking. And it didn't help that the NE Patriots were playing the NY Jets the very same day. But unlike the Patriots, ATE accepts no defeat.
The show at T.T. The Bear's later that evening was unique and exciting. We met a ton of new and interesting people. Thanks to Anamanaguchi and everyone who came out and made it a sold out show!
