Arkham was a year and 3 month long nightmare.Ā
The list is from traumatic memory, not an actual little notepad he scratches names off it. They are in his head; names, attitude, phrases said to him before they beat him nearly to death over and over. Arkham became his tragedy, always on repeat and fueling the rage, frustration, confusion, uncleanliness, and abandonment. It does not matter if years have passed, those scars are far too deep both physically and mentally.Ā
After his ārebirthā, he spent two years tracking every single one to study them, using the skills acquired by Batman with stalking and gaining intel. He waits for the perfect opportunity to catch them in a moment when they feel safe, secure and violently rips it away.Ā
These men will never see the flashing lights of Gotham PD, nor wake up in the brightness of a hospital. Once Red Hood reveals himself, their time has come to an end. To Jason, every single one of the men who hurt him are the walking dead, they just donāt know it yet.Ā
They will, each in an order, Joker himself at the top as his last victim. Jason knows not to underestimate the clown, the face off might very well be his own death but he is taking the bastard with him.Ā
That is the goal after all.
He has no intention of surviving.
