A Night at the Museum || Group Para

Hunter looked around the museum once he and Sebastian arrived, pleasantly surprised at how it had all come together. He found it hard to believe that less than 24 hours ago, he’d been freaking out with Jay. As the guests began to fill the space, Hunter’s anxiety began to rise. He reached into his jacket pocket, fingers finding the little packet of pills he’d brought along tonight- just in case. Hunter pulled two flutes of champagne from a tray of one of the circulating waiters and headed over to Sebastian. “I figured we could both use one of these to start,” he nodded, tossing back the whole glass in one gulp. “Did I tell you Jay completely saved my ass last night, showing up here with coffee and his artistic eye, fixing everything I’d messed up even though Catie told me not to touch anything that was finished?”

The event at the Museum of Natural History was the kind of thing Blaine liked to go to. It wasn’t filled with theatre and Broadway people, but there was a good mix. He was kind of happy that Kurt had decided they should make this a real date night. As he looked over at Kurt, who looked very gorgeous in his tux, Blaine felt a bit of the weight from the last weeks lift from his shoulders. Maybe they would make it work after all. This could be the first step back towards the great relationship they once had; the one Blaine had expected their life in New York to be full of.

He turned through the pages of the program, reading through it with interest. He was actually really looking forward to seeing the diamond. “Oh, wow, I wonder if...” Blaine trailed off, showing the program to Kurt. “According to this there is a Hunter Clarington on the team behind this exhibit. What are the changes it’s Hunter Clarington from Dalton?”

BLAINE: Hey Kurt. Can we talk about the upcoming long weekend?

BLAINE: I'd like to take Hepburn for the whole weekend, but if you have something already planned for the long weekend, I can move my plans to the weekend after, Friday-Monday.
