hello, sure! subtypes are also called instinctual types. there are three of them: social, sexual and self-preservation. no matter a person's core type, their subtype affects exactly where their desires/fears are projected.

for example: social fives want to use their knowledge to belong in social settings, sexual fives use it to form intimate connections and sp fives use it to protect themselves. their motivation (to be competent and knowledgable) is still the same, but they direct it differently.
