I felt the buzz in my back pocket and pulled out the sleek black phone. Too slim, too expensive for me and my hoodie and trashy trench-coat. 

It briefly shimmered with the after-image of black feathers and another buzz vibrated in my hand.

Flipping it open, I read the texts:

All-Seer - I have seen a great thing in your future

All-Seer - Truly a blessing to you, a bright and wonderful event 

Me - cmon man spit out the deets

All-Seer - I would prefer not to, it is not perhaps the most hygienic manner of providing information

Me - Ha. Ha. Ha.

All-Seer - Your preferred gelato shop is selling mint cones for a discounted price

Me - OMFGs I love you

All-Seer - I thought you would be greatly pleased

Me - now that’s an underwhelming statement

All-Seer - It would be best to arrive there now before a queue forms

Me - already omw, you want me to get u anything?

All-Seer - Anything at all would be a gift

Me - lol, no seriously, any particular flavour?

All-Seer - They have begun providing spunk monkey, which I am curious about

All-Seer - Spun money

All-Seer - Damn auto-correct

Me - spumoni?

All-Seer - That is the one

Me - no worries man, I’ll get some for you

Me - also, you know how to turn off auto-correct, right?

All-Seer - I can see many things, laid out across the universe and the branches of Yggdrasil

All-Seer - But I have yet to unravel the secrets of the Settings menu
