I'm so confused with BRF tittles so here are some cuestions. 1. Why Edward is not a duke and Andrew yes. The two are sons of the queen and not heirs of the throne. 2. Why Peter and Zara Phillips don't have any tittle? 3. Why lady Louise and viscount James aren not princess and prince and Beatrix and Eugene yes? 4. Will the sons of Beatrix and Eugene have any tittle? 5. Why Kate is not a princess if her husband is? Same with Meghan

And now cuestiones I have for when the queen dies (hope this happens in a long time) and Charles become King. 1. Will Camilla become queen? Or she will still be duchess of Cornwall? 2. William will became prince of Wales… Does it means that they will lose the tittle of duke of Cambridge? 3. Then Kate will be Catherine, princess of Wales… but what about George, Charlotte and the nee baby? They still with Cambrige or they became prince George of Wales, princess Charlotte of Wales… [2//3] We continue when the queen dies… 6. harry and meghan sons will became princes or not? 7. Edward will be always earl or some day he become duke?

Lots of questions here!! I’ll break them down. 

1) Why is Edward a Duke and Andrew isn’t? Well Edward requested that he be made Earl of Wessex specifically as he liked the title. But when he married it was confirmed that he would become Duke of Edinburgh when both Philip and the Queen have died so he will become a Duke in time. 

2) Why don’t Peter and Zara have titles? The title is taken from your father. Anne’s husband chose not to have titles so they also don’t have titles. 

3) Why aren’t Louise and James prince/ss but Beatrice and Eugenie are? Edward and Sophie requested that Louise and James be styled as the children of an Earl so they could live a slightly more normal life. But if they hadn’t requested that, they would be known as Princess and Prince. 

4) Will the sons of Beatrice and Eugenie have titles? As with point 2, they will have titles if their father has a title so it depends on whether the Queen/Charles decide to give their husbands titles or if you already have one of their own. 

5) Why isn’t Kate a princess? She is, technically. In the BRF you can’t be a Princess in your own right unless you’re a member of the royal family by blood. Otherwise you take the female equivalent of your husband’s Princely title so technically Kate is Princess William. She just doesn’t go by it as the Duchess title is more senior. 

6) Will Camilla become Queen? When she married Charles it was confirmed she would be known as Princess Consort but she will legally be Queen and entitled to call herself Queen. 

7) Will William lose the Duke of Cambridge title when he becomes Prince of Wales? No, he won’t. You only lose the title when you die or become monarch. But the Prince of Wales title is more senior so they won’t be known by Cambridge anymore. 

8) What will the Cambridge kids be known as when William is Prince of Wales? They will become HRH Prince/ss x of Wales as it’s the most senior title and the title their parents use. 

9) Will Harry and Meghan’s kids become Prince/ss when the Queen dies? Yes, they will. They’ll be main line grandchildren of a monarch so they will be upgraded to Prince/ss unless Harry requests they aren’t. 

10) Will Edward become a Duke? See question 1!

If you want to know what outfits royal women have worn recently, this is the blog to go to. AllAboutRoyalty makes such adorable little collages of each royal woman and I love them. They also reblog really wonderful posts, normally about the female royals or royal children, especially the royal children who are growing up, like Princess Elisabeth of Belgium. There is a lot of Maxima and Willem Alexander, a lot of Leti, a lot of William and Kate. It’s a very drama-free, kind and pretty blog.

What royals have natural childbirth and what royals have had caesarean?

Most have natural childbirth but I did some research and found some who were born by caesarean. There are lots who are less high profile so I included the most famous here. Some of them aren’t confirmed 100% though: 

The Netherlands: All of Beatrix’s sons, Willem-Alexander, Constantijn and Friso. 

Belgium: Princess Elisabeth

Denmark: Frederik and Joachim

Monaco: Princess Stephanie’s children Louis, Pauline, and Camille. 

Spain: Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia

Britain: Lady Louise Windsor (her mother almost died giving birth to her!); Princess Eugenie; Princess Margaret, and the Queen herself;

What is the first act when u think Victoria was pregnat? Do u think she was in the wedding of Carl Phillip? And what about Sofia?

Well the pregnancy was announced for Victoria on 4th September. They tend to announce when they’re around 12 weeks but they need time to make the announcement so I think she was 12 weeks on 1st/2nd. 12 weeks before the 1st/2nd was 9th/10th June. If this is right, the event would have been the Polar Music Prize but she probably didn’t know at that time. 

As for Sofia. The announcement was 15th October so she likely got pregnant on 20th July ish. She didn’t do any engagements until they went to Varmland about a month later so she will have definitely known she was pregnant then. The first time we saw her unofficially when she was pregnant was probably the holiday in St Tropez when she would have been about 2 weeks and might well have known she was pregnant.

Hello, sex name and titles for the two new sweden babies

Hi :) I don’t know about sex. I don’t usually make guesses about that because genetics is a 50/50 game. There’s literally no point in guessing haha. 

I think the first names for both will be non-traditional. Estelle, Leonore, and Nicolas are all non-traditional names for royals. For middle names the Swedes tend to pick family names. Leo’s middle names are after Princess Lilian and Chris’s mum; Nicolas’s middle names are for his paternal and maternal grandfathers; Estelle’s names are for her maternal and paternal grandmothers and her godmother.  A lot of Swedish names are very Swedish and wouldn’t work elsewhere so I think they’ll choose names that have international appeal. I think names like Sybilla, Alice, Carl, Gustaf, Oscar etc. Baby Sass we could also see Astrid (Victoria was close to Astrid Lundgren), Olaf (Daniel’s real name) or Olle (his dad). Baby Slay I expect to see Bertil and Erik or Marie being in there too after Sofia’s parents. So basically non-traditional but classic first names and traditional, family orientated second names. 

For the titles I think some people would like CP and Sofia’s baby to be Duke/Duchess of Halland in honour of Bertil and Lilian. CP was close to them and inherited their home so it would be a touching tribute. Estelle’s Duchy, Ostergotland, is very close to her parent’s Duchy in Vastergotland so they might choose to keep the baby’s duchy close by and choose Sodermanland. Or if they give Halland to Baby Sass they may choose to balance it with something at the other end of the country like Vasterbotten. 

Honestly I suck at these speculation things because I never get it right haha. There’s a lot of superstition within different cultures that I don’t know about because I’m not Swedish, so some of these might be totally off the mark!

Hi, what's your opinion about princess Leonore and prince Nicolas have the titltle of princess and princess?

I love it! They’re the grandchildren of a monarch so I think it’s entirely appropriate for them to have titles. I also love how progressive the Swedes are. They were the first to have equal primogeniture. And then while other royal families decided that children took titles from the male, the Swedes thought “screw that.” Daniel took the same Dukedom Victoria already had, Chris would have had been Duke of Hälsingland and Gästrikland if he’d taken a title, and Leonore and Nicolas get to be Prince and Princess even though their father doesn’t have a title. I like it. The Swedes are a really small royal family so they can afford to be liberal with titles. 

I understand why some people are annoyed about it because Leonore wasn’t born in Sweden and neither of them have actually lived in Sweden. Madeleine is bending the succession rules quite a lot. But the children will be educated in Sweden and will come back to the country a hell of a lot during their upbringing. As long as Sweden is where they settle by the time they are educated, I’m ok with it.
