Masters ✅
didn’t think I’d be spending most of my summer in my room, but here we are.
Off to Karbala ❤️
The worst thing about being in pain is not about how emotionally exhausting/draining it is but rather how many people I have knowingly or unknowingly hurt along the way.
And then once I heal, it just feels so awkward for me to go back and mend my relationship with them.
To not repeat the same mistake over, I realized what works best for me is to not throw my crap on others when I am having a bad day or week. It is to keep myself together and in check on bad days knowing that I will thank myself for doing that later when the difficulties fade out of my life and the good days come.
To add on, Duas and spiritual activities like majalis, matam just give me that strength and patience I didn’t know I was capable of having to surf through the bad days.
If there is anything I have learned and manifested in my heart over the past years is how powerful dua really is and without it I really wouldn’t be where I am right now.
Just submitted the last assignment.
First year of grad school ✅
A wedding, family reunion and travelling to a new place. What a perfect way to start my new year.
An unplanned trip but totally worth it
Allahmdulilah. I learned a beautiful lesson today though, unfortunately I had to learn the hard way but qadr’Allah I’m alive and well. I hope that this experience helps me to grow and make me a better person.
