frank was a man with an agenda as he crossed the street, leaving alice with her friends, “sorry to interrupt, but i’m going to have to steal ellie for a moment --” the boy grinned warmly at the sixth years and gestured for ellie to join him on the side, “you and barty -- really?” he didn’t have to hide behind polite conversation with her -- today was already a disaster and he had a feeling it was only going to get worse from here --

“how’s my FAVOURITE CAPTAIN doing?” he mused, smirk stretching his lips as he sat down on the navy plush cushion -- the ravenclaw common room wasn’t his most common hangout spot, but when it was quiet like this -- when it wasn’t so occupied, it was too peaceful to turn down. 

“are you feeling well? haven’t heard one threatening lecture out of you all week -- is it the nerves?”
