Thanksgiving is already upon us and here am I only just now posting about the crazy Spatterbeast Jabberwocky puppet/costume I was working on for Halloween!  Just thought I’d share the completed head for now, even though it never left the house.  The full costume will just have to be finished in time for next Halloween, which includes a long neck that covers my head along with the one arm used to operate the puppet monster head and a large set of wing-arms.  The whole thing proved a bit too complicated to get done in time for this year’s spooky festivities. #art #monster #spatterbeast #mixedmedia #allandoodles #halloween #puppet #costume #creature #foamfabricated

Starry-eyed Eagle…  A really fun thing when I was doing the SpatterBeast series was creating holiday-themed beasts.  I never did an Independence Day piece, so I just couldn’t help but revisit the series today after whipping out my red, white, and blue inks. Happy 4th!

Happy Easter!  Back when I was doing the SpatterBeast series, I always enjoyed creating themed beasts whenever a holiday rolled around.  Here are the two Easter beasters I made, meeting for the first time.
