I honestly just want to say how sorry I am for you and the entire Finchel fandom. I know I've never been a fan of that ship, Rachel or Lea and we've never seen eye to eye on things but I've respected you guys for how devoted you've been to Finn and that ship. All you've wanted was the best for that character and to endure this tragedy; to have that dream of Finn's happiness along with his happiness of being with his true love ripped away too soon has to be completely devastating. To top it all off other shippers in this fandom have relentlessly taunted/abused you with their shipper joy disregarding the wounds all of us Cory/Finn fans carry. And now RIB and co. are doing the unthinkable by replacing your ship (and our male lead) with a ridiculously bad 2.0 version and have arrogantly and insensitively appointed Chord/Sam as Cory/Finn's successor (which is an absolute fail). It's become more obvious how unrecognizable glee has become without our Cory. I'm sorry for the pain you're all in, the frustration you feel and I'm sorry for how it all went down. I have said things in the past that probably offended you but despite my overly opinionated nature I'm not without a heart or compassion. If I had to choose which ship I'd rather have ended up on glee I would totally choose your ship because it would mean Cory would still be with us and Finn would get to finish his journey. The devotion that you guys have for Finn and Cory knows no bounds and I know that no matter how terrible the show has become it will never erase or take away the impact and life Cory/Finn brought to the show and into our lives. I only hope you guys have a chance to see this post only so you know my profound respect for the two of you. You've given your fandom hope and comfort in their time of need and given Cory fans a place to vent when they needed a friend. I don't expect us to become pals over night or expect any attention just that you know I admire you both and wish the best to all of you in the Finchel fandom. I wish things could've been different overall. I wish none of us were in this void of despair. Instead I'll leave you and your fellow shippers with this thought. sincerely, Cory's fan Chloe

Idk even if I consider myself a Cory blog, ‘cause, although I’m dedicating it to him now, it’s usually about Glee/Monchele/Finchel/Other fandons (read about it in my about me)…

Aw, thank you! :) And I could not agree more! Freak outs are very common in this fandom, but some people are just ridiculous. None of us have a right to know the real story anyway and we'll never /really/ know unless Cory himself decides to tell it. The main thing everyone should focus on is just sending him love and support however and whenever they can! It's really all we can do anyways.

Reading over what Nic (breathofmidnightair) said has led me to down a different road.

I still stand by what I said earlier with a few notable adjustments. I want 'for once in his life allowed to be carefree for A LITTLE WHILE (because let's face it, it's not in Finn's MO to be a wild party boy for more than 15 mins)' Finn Hudson. I'm looking forward to Finn being young and living his life and just being a little happier for a bit.

However in line with what I said, if this is the 'frat boy' persona the Glee writers are leading with then yea, I'm wary as all hell. I want Finn to let loose and have fun and be able to  act his age a little but I don't want it to stall his journey or worse let him be used for yet another PSA just because he's the most accessible character. I'm over them kicking him okay? I still believe Finn deserves to be carefree for once but I don't see how this possible road (if they do it like this) is gonna add to it. Also haters claiming he should have some random hook up? Do you even know Finn at all? Or at the very least his views on sex? Where were you the first 3 seasons? If he did, the writers would make him look wishy washy and I don't want that. So while I still agree with Ally and stand by what I said, I'll reinforce that if this is the frat boy persona they lead with, the story they explore, I'd want it to end quickly. I'd much rather see Finn/Puck busking or doing other silly things as opposed to being as Nic said used for yet another PSA.

I don't want him in Lima either. Not because I ship Finchel because I stan them both individually and together okay? Finn Hudson never wanted to be stuck in Lima. There is nothing WRONG with Lima. He just knew from the beginning he didn't want to be there forever and I want him to get that BEFORE the end of the season. DREAM 'AS BIG AS HE IS' AND ACHIEVE IT TOO. That is why I don't want him to still be in Lima BUT I will ride out his journey no matter what because seeing him go and get his dreams is gonna be the best thing about S4 for me.
