Tonks groaned. It felt like everything she had eaten in the last week was making a reappearance. She tried to take a few deep breaths, gripping the edge of the pot. "I'm sorry," she wailed. It was just her luck that the nausea she had been fighting all day was finally coming to a head in front of Snape, of all people.
"I really don't feel good," she managed to tell him, tears threatening embarrassingly to spill, before she was forced to grab the pot again. Her aim had never been great but at least she hadn't thrown up all over the floor.
Brow lifted at her apology, rather at the absurdity of it but he made no comment, letting her go through the next few waves of nausea on her own and standing a good few feet away lest she make an even bigger mess. There was a soft click of his tongue at her rather unhelpful statement, “obviously,” he drawled, a soft sigh leaving him as he looked away. Whether that was to provide her with a bit of privacy with which to keep some of her dignity or to keep himself from having to witness more of this than he already had was really anyone’s guess.
Once that next wave settled, he levitated one of the vials to her, the general anti-nausea one first. He also summoned a glass of water and floated that to her as well, keeping his distance for now. “Bottoms up, Ms. Tonks. The water will help you wash down the rather bitter flavor,” he knew it was likely she would turn it down but.. that would be her choice, he wasn’t going to cajole the woman into drinking a potion; he was not her keeper.
