Going straight from a nine-hour Nonary Game to bouncing around in the back of the trunk, only to end up at an interrogation cell was extremely taxing for the body. Not even accounting his age, Hongou was exhausted, dehydrated, and just downright annoyed at these poor circumstances. The Kurashikis may have bested him, but he had the money and power to get himself out of a long sentence; all he had to do was get home to contact his lawyers.

But now he was stuck in Nevada with no one to contact (due to killing his only possible allies in the game), and this dark-skinned woman more scantily-clad than Lotus was trying to drill him for answers.

Well. He just wouldn’t have it. “What answers could you possibly want from me, that you haven’t gotten from the others?” he snapped, irritation leaking through his tone.

I want to go home. He wanted to say, but it was the wish of a child, so he kept it inside his mind.
