Human Al:
Allie Aster (simplified, there weren’t any options for magpie wings or glowie white ends for his hair):
It’s Angel Al time - here’s a take on a consequence divergence in my human Al’s timeline before his path into my default Al’s demonic state was set in stone.
Name: Allie Aster, formerly Alastor LeRoux.
Also known as: Sunbeam, The Forget-Me-Not Friend, Magpie.
Date of birth: 1 May 1896.
Date of death: 12 January 1933.
Age at death: 36.
Gender: Somewhere in the general vicinity of male.
Sex: Intersex is probably the closest applicable term. Technically he already was, but delving into certain magics unprepared also caused some physical changes. It’s no skin off his nose, and he’s had plenty of time to get used to it, considering the magical dabbling occurred while he was alive.
Orientation: Demisexual/demiromantic. Allie doesn’t actually have the words themselves, but he’s had long enough to realise certain things about himself in this regard. He finds it difficult to describe clearly, so usually wouldn’t bother trying to - after all, why should he feel obligated to explain himself on such personal matters?
It usually matters little to him whether there are frogs or newts in his pond, to be metaphorical about it, so long as he’s given the time and space to figure out what to make of them if and when they ever show up. Even in the case of any popping up, he may not necessarily know what type of frog or newt he’d found without reference besides overly dramatic accounts of them from others, nor be altogether sure about telling anyone he didn’t hold significant regard for.
As for sex itself, as opposed to sexual attraction, he’s not repulsed so much as not wanting to have it shoved in his face unexpectedly or have it be an expectation. He can feel horny or think about horny things, it’s just not necessarily going to be about anyone specific or a specific type of person. If there’s some kind of bond or familiarity, he may be willing to consider something, particularly if the velvet’s off his antlers at the time.
Place of origin: Louisiana.
Angel type: Blessed dead with affinities for justice, wonderment/curiosity and adventure/thrill. Mostly human-looking, but with magpie features and radio qualities.
Halo: Responds visibly to Allie’s emotions, sometimes audibly. Sensitive, but in the sense that it’s soothing to run a finger along it - you can pet the halo, if you have permission.
Mic cane: Like his demon counterpart, Allie has a close connection with radio, and a mic cane companion of his own. For the pun value, he named his cane Abel. Abel has a single blue eye, the rest of him black and white.
Magpie?: While unable to slip into shadows like his demon counterpart, Allie is able to change shape into an American magpie, has gained some features from them in death, and can communicate with other corvids with a vaguely Disney princessesque ability to befriend them.
Voice: No vocal filter, and he uses his own accent rather than a transatlantic one.
Appearance: Allie’s hair, long and naturally fluffy, has darkened to black - save for glowing white ends. His eyes are still a warm brown, but have gained little gold/yellow stars in the pupils. He also has a little set of rose-tinted specs specifically for checking souls for any sign of his mother. He expected to find her in Heaven, but to no avail - thus one of his major goals in venturing to Hell is to find her and get her enrolled in Charlie’s redemption program.
He has the wings and tail of an American magpie, a white halo and a faint glow about him similar to that of the cherubs. There’s no coating of fuzz obscuring his complexion or his freckles, unlike his demon counterpart, and he tends more towards wearing blues. He’s also more likely to wear modern clothes than his demon counterpart, though he still has a preference towards more vintage things. He doesn’t usually wear them, but he does have worm on a string earrings in several colours.
Divergence from default: Due to the request of an ancestor in Heaven after Allie accidentally changed his physiology a bit while playing with magic he shouldn’t have had access to, an angel stepped in to provide guidance and support, and switch up the things he was learning as it was obvious that he wasn’t going to stop trying to learn whatever magic he could get his mitts on.
This angel became his ‘imaginary friend’ of sorts, though it didn’t take Allie long to work out that his new companion was very real. With an angel by his side, Allie never wound up delving into peryton-related magic, nor did he accidentally draw Furfur’s attention. He did not, however, lose any of his insatiable thirst for knowledge, nor his thrillseeking tendencies.
Diverting him from more vengeful leanings was a fairly gradual process, but he was a child at that point, not yet set in his ways. Instead of finding ways to visit misfortune on those who’d wronged he and his (or those he could observe, as his focus grew more broad), he began learning how to bring fortune to those impacted.
He still vehemently believed that the actions of those he wasn’t allowed to enact revenge on ought be answered for, but being steered more in the direction of exposing their actions in ways the authorities or the community couldn’t ignore proved effective. So long as justice was served, he no longer felt he had to directly enact it. This did still lead to vigilantism of a sort, but not one with a bloody calling card. Instead, he took to leaving forget-me-nots, leading to one of his nicknames. He also enjoys wearing these in his hair nowadays.
A further point of divergence was that when he was faced with having to kill after being drafted, he didn’t meddle with his own reactions to make it easier, instead leaning more heavily on the support of his companion and the more healing and evasive magical arts he had been learning.
Death: Shot as a magpie while leaving the property of someone he’d just set up for a comeuppance. His body reverted after a short while and became unexpected evidence.
Powers/skills: A great many of these are the same as for Default Al, though his affinity for magpies, his holy magic and healing magic are notable exceptions, and he lacks a number of the nastier bits of magic his counterpart dabbles in.
Weapons: He favours knives, not all of them holy, but doesn’t often have cause to use them.
Where does your power lie?
Default Al:
The mouth:
Sharp teeth, sharper tongue, all growl and bark and bite, bite, bite. Your power is gritted teeth and set jaws, quick and powerful words, decisive actions. Everything you do is so personal and vulnerable - the way you love, the way you are loved, the way you attack, the way you drink in and feast on life.
Allie Aster:
The eyes:
You are always looking. ahead, back, up, down. You can see all the possibilities, all the consequences, all the stars. Your power is steady, squinting, taking everything in. Your power is glaring, shining. Your strength is in tears of happiness, sorrow, anger, fear. Your strength is in your ability to dream, to understand, and you are never the first to blink.
Imp Al:
The blood:
Oh it courses through you. Your power is never outside of your periphery. It is always there, rushing and freezing and boiling. Your strength is in how well you know yourself, and your abilities. You are acutely aware of your energy, and what bleeds you.
Human Al:
The legs:
You are rooted. You know where you want to go. your strength is in your resolve, your determination. Your power is running, dancing, resolute, trudging. Your strength can weather storms and climb mountains. You cannot be moved unless you choose to, but if you so choose, you cannot be stopped.
Nightmare Al:
The heart:
Your power is steady and driving. Your power is fickle, it skips and it races and it bleeds and it burns. Your strength is in how much you care, about everything. Your strength is cold and it is stone and it is soft and it is on your sleeve, and you love. My god, do you love.

Doesn’t have the wings, but this one’s got eyeshadow options and I can get the hair effect, so that works out.
An attempt at a simplified Allie Aster in picrew.
Kind of getting there in concept, and he does still love him some furbies.
I’ve had aus on the brain for days now so uh... Now in addition to human Al and imp Al, I’ve got a Nightmare Al and an Angel Allie.
