BB4 Review + Favorite Player

Big Brother 4 is kind of forgettable. There were no big blow ups, gameplay wasn’t that extraordinary, and the personalities were kind of boring. However, it did have one of my favorite twists: the X Factor. This twist meant that most of the houseguests had an ex they would be competing with.

Because of this twist, it sent crazy Scott out of the door by expulsion because of his anger towards his ex Amanda. Erika and Robert hated each other at the beginning but ended up acting like adults and becoming allies. Allison and Justin were a complete mess and I had no idea how they managed to be with each other before. Justin was level headed and Allison was just crazy. Jun and Jee had a weird passive aggressive relationship that I really liked for some reason. But after the exes settled their differences, nothing big happened.

This was the season where the first floater strategy was born. Back then, floating was a legitimate strategy. Nowadays, it is seen as doing nothing. Floating back then meant you had multiple alliances, fed the other alliances information about the other alliances to gain their trust, and were extremely valuable because they were swing votes. I personally loved floaters in this season. Jun and Allison were vicious and cunning and were feared... FOR BEING FLOATERS. I loved it.

As the winner goes, Jun is one of the best. She took the opportunity to align with her ex to go farther in the game. She won competitions when she needed to and had a pretty good social game. But, I do think Allison was more deserving as a winner. But in the earlier seasons, the winners were rewarded for who they were other than their game. But they did both play similar games and either of them winning was a good win.

My favorite player was Allison. How can you not like her? I did think she was annoying at the start, but was very competitive, manipulative, and funny to watch.
