German class day two. I’m starting my blog post halfway thru the day because that is also the time that I started my day. Heeeeh. SANDRA has finally returned from Munich and went to class for the first time today. I forgot that the bank closes 1-2 (when I was planning on going) so I tried to go after class but they were all closed early for the carnival (I’m assuming….still not fluent with the whole German thing, obviously). Runnin’ low in da cash flow! During break Hanna invited some of us over to their place tomorrow. Hanna and Hanna live in the city
<*FUNNY STORY WARNING* during the international student brunch when we were all introduced, the Hanna’s were beside each other…
Hanna #1: “Hi, my name is Hanna. I am from Finland, it is a very popular name in Finland.”
Hanna #2: “Hi, my name is Hanna. I am from Finland, it is a very popular name in Finland.”
LOLLLLL k that’s the story>
and their apartment building’s rooftop turns into a nightclub on Wednesday nights (I think…slight language barrier…). Anyways I sent her a bunch of our names to put on the guestlist - so we’ll see how it goes tomorrow!
OOH I rearranged my room - even though I don’t think I ever posted pics of it yet (just showed ppl thru skype)…here’s my new room y’all…
CALL ME MIKE HOLMES cause I installed that towel hook myself.
Still need a mirror/rug/garbage can/SOMEthing for my walls. Ikea. Tomorrow perhaps…?
Also thought of the cutest idea to buy two clocks: one for the time here and one for the time at home. D’awwwwww isn’t that the cutest?
Also bought more groceries today - spent 13 euros (have I mentioned how cheap everything is!?)! I bought; bread, cheese, meat, chocolate, beer, red bull, and fruit loops. So the necessities. PS the fruit loops are disgust. PSS I only just today discovered we use the green bin in my apartment. Oops.
Tonight Trung essentially rounded up everyone in our German class (including an American girl, some boys from the UK, and evvvvveryone who’s on exchange in HdM) to go to Unithekle!
