British actor who is best known for his role as put-upon French bar keeper Rene Artois,in the classic British sitcom ‘Allo,Allo!’,set during WWII,in a French town occupied by German forces,and the French Resistance plotting against them.He also had roles in such films as Terry Giulliame’s fantasy,Brazil,as desk clerk M.O.I. Gordon Fitzgerald Kaye, known professionally as Gorden Kaye (April 7, 1941 – January 23, 2017)  A BAFTA-nominated English comic actor, best known for playing René Artois in the British TV comedy series 'Allo 'Allo!

He made his TV debut as a railway guard in the BBC's Yorkshire mill drama Champion House (1968).  He was cast as Bernard Butler, the nephew of Elsie Tanner (Phoenix), in the soap opera Coronation Street in 1969.  He later made an impression on producer/writer David Croft following guest roles in It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Come Back Mrs. Noah.  He also appeared in the drama series All Creatures Great and Small and in the private detective series Shoestring. In 1981, Kaye appeared as Frank Broadhurst in the children's drama serial Codename Icarus.

ROBIN PARKINSON (1929-Died May 7th 2022,at 92). English actor known for his comedy roles. He appeared as the second actor to portray Monsieur Ernest Leclerc in 22 episodes of 'Allo 'Allo! (series 7–9),after the death of the first portrayer Derek Royle (the character being the brother of Roger Leclerc, played by Jack Haig),and was known for his catchphrase, “It is I, Leclerc ” and was a familiar face of comedy in the 1970s and 1980s. He was also the narrator of Button Moon.
