I like to think I’m pretty easygoing when it comes to the less… Well behaved side of a fandom, so I don’t think anything like that has ever driven me away! Could be wrong, though.

The cheap card lay crumpled between his hands as he turned to glare at the teen lurking behind him. Parker shifted slightly in response, fiddling with the hem of his sweater in a motion that served as an indicator of how nervous he was. And so he should be. Was he fucking serious? A Superman valentine’s card? No way. No fucking way. This had to be a trick. A mistake.

Sure, PJ was a nerd- the guy had Spiderman underwear, for Christ’s sake-, but he never thought he could be this much of a dweeb.

The words “you’re super!“ (written in a cutesy font, of course) beamed at him from the desk as he spun to face his friend, a perfectly-calculated scowl of disapproval already fixed to his face.

"Please tell me you’re joking.”

The full-blown turbo dork grin he expected to watch spread across Parker’s face was instead replaced by a more bashful smile. The sound of a cheap sneaker scuffing against the carpet grated against his ears. 

But it was the deepening blush that oozed into PJ’s cheeks that finally convinced Micah that this, despite the cheesiness of the sentiment, was not a joke. He actually meant this. The stupid card, the awkward body language, the downward glance. Parker wasn’t fucking with him.

He felt a sudden urge to clear his throat.

PJ’s halted his intense scrutiny of the floor to glance at him, uneasy smile shattering any confident airs he was trying to put on. The pale teen found himself rising to his feet, eyes fixed on the way his friend’s face changed from sheepish to mildly terrified. A pasty-white hand brushed against his cheek as he inclined his head to breach the slight distance between them, pressing a brief kiss to his lips before pulling abruptly away, an embarrassed scowl worming its way onto his face.

As Parker stared at him, mouth slightly open in shock, he retrieved the battered card and thrust it into his chest, snorting slightly at the way PJ struggled to regain his footing at the sudden shove. 

“You need to work on your wooing, Jones.”

Agh I'm pretty sure I've seen some funny parodies before but I can't remember any sorry!

Hmmmm well it's close to a main road so there's some traffic, but it's also next to farmland and really scenic hills so there's lots of birds and if you go hiking you can see deer and other wildlife. There's a really lovely view of the water. Even though it's further away from my school and any major shops, I like it way more than my old area c:

5. What are your favourite inspirational song lyrics?

It's super late and I can't come up with a fave so I'm just gonna cheat and use Eye of the Tiger again because that's all I can think of sorry friends

6. What’s the toughest work you ever had to do?

Do you mean like physical work? Or mental/emotional work? English and biology were mentally trying for me this year, and babysitting can be pretty tough too. Physical-wise, probably stuff involving heavy lifting or intense tidying. (Nothing specific comes to mind, though.)

7. What would you want to do the most right now?

Be able to write all the ideas for fanfiction I'm getting without worrying about it sucking ;;;

8. What did you like to do most, as a child?

I was one of those weird lonely children. The one who had all the imaginary friends and got really intense when it came to their stuffed animals/ plastic toys. I used to craft super complex and dramatic storylines for each of them, where dinosaurs would kidnap the polly-pocket-turned-princess and there would be a broken relationship every day. I'd crouch on the floor and pick up each toy as they 'spoke', holding them up to my face and whispering their lines softly. It was fun!

9. What do you miss most?

I guess I miss how much simpler school was back in second year.

10. What’s one of the best things that you feel about right now?

I feel happy about general stuff like friends and family and pets. I'm in a pretty good mood, actually uvu

Oh do you mean like a shoutout sort of thing??? If so then I'd like to say that Rebecca, Ludo, Emmie and Sam are the best friends I could ever ask for and they all play a pretty big part in making me as happy as possible every day! <3 (and if you decided to follow them then I'm about 97% sure you wouldn't regret it because their blogs are great too)
