#30DaysOfAnimation Day 5 (oops I'm a day behind in posting) New Video is currently uploading to my YouTube channel as we post (57% uploaded, 1 hr 30 mins left). It's a #SketchbookTour to showcase and celebrate the completion of #Inktober. 🎉 PLUS I have an announcement at the end of the video. Link will be in the bio. I hoped to publish this video earlier today, but the sound design took longer than expected - animation things seem to always take longer than expected. Maybe it's just a young animator problem...hmm. #AllPartOfTheExperience I had a lot of mind resistance and technology resistance while trying to put this animation together. By "mind resistance" I mean I had to wrestle against thoughts of guilt and shame about doing this animation. I felt guilty that I wasn't doing the 2D animation that I've previously posted earlier this month even though I'm still working on it 🤔. Also it didn't help that my computer was lagging and resisting me at almost every stage of editing. I couldn't tell if I was experiencing resistance because I wasn't supposed to do the video or because I was supposed to do it. Either way I would have felt regret had I not done this animation though 🤔. I'm please with the end result. I literally made a stop motion film using my cellphone 😲 #PraiseTheLord Nevertheless this scripture Romans 8:1 keeps me together when I'm feeling condemned. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the spirit." In a nutshell it means that because I am in Christ I don't need to feel guilty or ashamed for doing this Sketchbook Tour if anything God is cheering me on! #LongPost #MustSleep #HashtagLater
