Oh, I thought the crescent moon shape was intentional! It looks nice.

Clearly the next thing I laser-etch this onto is going to have to include an asymmetrical crescenty shape! :D  (I wouldn’t be doing it just because other people think it looks good though, I think it looks good too. It’s just that the current thing it’s on is at the centre of a design featuring concentric circles and it looks really glaring to me on that object.)

Thanks! :D I would quite like the crescent moon shape, but you can see the burnt bit on its other side where it etched over a bit that had already been etched so it doesn’t quite look as intentional in person. :P

i'll find them asethically pleasing but if i did that to my own-i'll cry in frustration, especially at my dr who books because i'll never be able to find anything nor in order :')

I can’t even appreciate them aesthetically. The entire concept annoys me too much to enjoy seeing them. (At least nearly all my Doctor Who books have white spines, so they’d be together anyway.)

I'm not saying people should use the dewey fucking decimal system but you gotta at least sort them by topic

I don’t own nearly enough nonfiction books to make this worthwhile, so they’re mostly just divided into “history” and “not history,” then sorted by place/time period they focus on

I pronounce zoology like zoh-ology, but I think even in the US some people say zoo? probably

Splitting it up does make sense, since we don’t spell it zooology. :P (Though I am tempted.)
