All Right Now Part 6

Travis Kelce x Famous!Reader Description: The reader catches the eye of famous footballer Travis.

“What do you mean it’s not a big deal!? it's a huge deal” Travis says with wide exaggerated eyes I sigh rubbing my forehead “Baby It’s really not” I reply to him he gives a dramatic and loud sigh making a smile break out on my face “You having your own documentary isn’t a big deal?” he questions. I shake my head “I don’t know, that means they’re in my home they’ll try to video everyone even your family. I don’t know if I want that.” I tell him my fear, He sighs rubbing his forehead “How about this, I’ll ask them how they feel about it okay?” he suggests.

It makes me feel a little better with Travis checking if they are okay with it, I don’t want them to feel like I’m invading their privacy especially because I’ve been in with their family for a few months now. I nod from where I lay on his chest. “Okay, thank you” I whisper before we both fall into a nap.

A few hours later 

Me and Travis are both sitting at the kitchen counter after our Facetime call with the producers from Apple TV telling them our decision.

 “I’m proud of you, you know that right?” Trav says breaking the silence, I look up from where my head is resting on my hands and give him a small smile as a response “Thank you, I really am excited, just super nervous ” I move from the counter towards him, settling into his warmth “I know, but you’re gonna kill it, I know you are” he says. We talk a bit more before deciding to get ready to head out for dinner. 

We’ve been at dinner now for about thirty minutes before Travis slightly nudges to get my attention “paps on your left outside” he tells me, I look over seeing them, instead of trying to ignore them, I decided to give them a small wave and smile in acknowledgement. I turn back my attention to Trav to see him hiding a grin “what?” I question he shakes his head sporting a slightly larger smile “nothing It’s just I love that instead of ignoring them and being rude you push that aside to be nice to them when they’re the ones invading the privacy” he responds.

“It’s easier to be nice and kind to someone then going through the trouble to be rude to them, its their jobs and I cant be ignorant to the fact people have their own issues and don’t have the same lifestyle as us.” I slightly ramble. I’ve seen my parents go through the struggle of living paycheck to paycheck (barely) so after I got big in this world, it has been my mission to make sure it doesnt happen to them again. I look up after remaining silent for a few seconds. I see a look on his face I’ve never seen before I tilt my head in question “Travis? Are you okay?” he remains staring at me before nodding his head slowly. He takes a deep tense breath rubbing his chin.

“I’m in love with you” is all he says staring at me. All I know is my eyes are humongous and my breath falters from his confession. In all my life and the boyfriends I’ve had sometimes you hear an “I love you” but not ever do you really hear “I’m In love with you”.

After the shock I realize I’ve been silent for about a minute a now and can see the tense silence has affected his confession “I’m sorry, you don’t have to say anything yet, I’ll wait until your ready and we can act like I didn’t say it yet an–” I sigh hearing his doubts “I’m in love with you too” my mouth rushes out the confession stopping him in the middle of his response. I see the shock on his face before a giant smile is replacing it. 

He bends to reach over the table cupping my face in his hands pulling my face in crashing his lips onto mine. He let’s go after a few seconds putting himself back into his chair, he wipes his mouth with the napkin and reaches into his wallet and putting money in the middle of the table before reaching for my hand pulling me up and out the restaurant “where are we going?” I ask dumbfounded. I couldnt finish my mac n cheese. He doesn't respond, instead, he shuts the door for me after I settle in the car.

He still hasn't responded after we got home, I tried one more time but he continues to walk into the house. 

He guides us both to the bedroom before reaching into his drawer that I told him to use since he has been staying here for a few weeks on end. He turns around with a light blue box and extends his hand with the box in it towards me, I eye the box sceptically before reaching to open and see the contents. 

In the box lays a dainty silver chained necklace with the letter T on it. I grab the chain, pulling it out of the box before Travis takes it gesturing me to turn around. I turn and pull my hair off of my neck as he clasps the necklace on, I can see it in the mirror from where we stand. “It’s beautiful, thank you really” I turn back around embracing him and giving him a chaste kiss. He keeps me tight against his solid frame before toying with the back of my outfit trying to untie it. I smirk before pulling away and pulling his hand guiding us both to the bed.

The Next Day

Getting ready for the day, Travis heads over to practice while I’m having my morning iced coffee waiting for the documentary production crew to come over and set up their equipment for us to start filming soon. 

As the crew comes In I greet all of them and gesturing to the kitchen counter where drinks and snacks lay for them to take “hello! Help yourselves to something to eat and drink, and I want to thank you guys for coming and doing all of this.” I talk to them for a but longer before the producer and director walk over “y/n hey we just wanted to see which room you would feel comfortable having the private interviews in?” after showing them the room all of the crew leave for the day to get rest for filming tomorrow.

Travis comes back around six and decide to cook dinner together I decided to go live while also trying to teach him how to make tamales. “Okay, Travis here is making a giant mess, but that’s okay, he’s learning” I joke to audience getting a mock shocked look from him “Hey! For someone who has never even had a tamale nor ever make one, I’m doing amazing!” he jokes at me, I give him a laugh before leaning forward to read some comments.

 “Chiefsqueen21 asks when will I perform live next? I will be performing soon in the next week, but I cannot tell you where at or what I will be performing but It will be out this week I promise” I cross my fingers to them “Okay, y/n’sleftsock, I love that username!” I belly laugh “They ask, will y/n ever been on an episode of new heights? I personally do not know I’d be a little nervous too because I’ve seen Jason does not hold back”  I laugh, turning to Travis who is off camera now “would I ever be a guest?” I question him smirking.

 He laughs before walking back into frame smirking “yall would have to see soon, but Jason would definitely not hold back the invasive questions” he says. I huff a laugh before we continue to read out fan questions.

We finish eating dinner before I remember “hey come on I wanna do something real quick” I tell him pulling his hand to the bedroom where the mirror is, I take out my phone and open Instagram and open the camera, I gesture for him to come closer. 

He has a look of confusion before it sets in on what I’m silently asking him. He pulls me to him in a hug, I snap the picture we don’t let go yet. 

He’s the first to let go but his hands still resting on my hip “what’s that for?” he questions I push my hair behind my ear “I realized that you made it official but now its my turn to show you off to the world” he smiles, pulling my back into an embrace, kissing me softly.

Description: Y/n and Travis attend the Superbowl.

An exaggerated huff leaves me as I throw my phone down to the couch's cushion, gaining the attention of Travis who sits next to me sifting through a bunch of channels on the TV. He looks at me with a smile “What’s wrong mama?” he places his arm around me and gently pulls me to him, minding the giant baby inside me still. I look at him with a sad face “I want her out! She’s is making me so out of breath and making my feet so swollen!” I exasperate earning a laugh from him. I gently slap him on the shoulder “It’s not funny, she needs to be out already” I tell him. 

Trav shakes his head before sighing “Oh baby, you know it doesn’t matter when we want her out? She comes whenever she chooses to come. And right now she is very comfortable in Mommy” He says making me feel somewhat better. I nod before melting into his embrace “Yeah you’re right, I just wanna meet her so bad” he nods while kissing my forehead “I know, me too but let’s just make sure she stays nice and comfy until she decides to come” he tells me as we turn to the movie on the TV.

Travis and I are both wearing black and red as we walk through the hallway that has some reporters and some fans so Travis can go to the locker room to get ready for the game and me to take the elevator up to the family suite. Travis keeps a protected arm around my waist as he guides us through the hallway. I try to greet everyone we pass as we walk. As we go I see a younger woman trying to get our attention, I nudge Travis to get his attention towards the girl. Travis nods and smiles at the woman as we pass “Travis are you ready for the biggest game tonight?” she asks earning a laugh from him, He nods “Oh absolutely, Chiefs kingdom baby!” everyone around chuckles. “It’s nice to meet you!” I tell her as we finally hit the main doors.

Travis walks us to the side and places one hand on my face bringing my forehead to his and the other on my belly taking a deep breath “It’s gonna be okay, y'all got this in the bag.” I reassure him and kiss him softly, he nods and takes one more deep breath before guiding me to the group of security guards to safely escort me to the suite. I start to walk with guards to the elevators and I look back waving to him and blowing him a kiss and mouthing “You got this!”

The elevator doors slide open to the entrance of the suite and I’m greeted by the familiar faces of the Kelce family and my mom. My mom and Donna stand gossiping near the windows and drinking. Kylie is the first to notice me, she speed walks over before engulfing me in a loving hug, well as best as she can considering the giant baby bump in the way.

“How are you? How are you feeling?” she asks guiding me to one of the seats by the giant window that shows the field. I huff as I plop down into one of the chairs “I’m okay, I’m more annoyed and just want her out” I laugh, Kylie laughs “Oh yeah I know that feeling, and god I don’t miss it” We talk a bit more and the rest of the Kelce family comes over with the conclusion of my mom and we all greet each other before the game officially starts. We all stand and watch as the Chiefs run out of the tunnel gaining a roar from the home crowd. I clap and whoop loudly, everyone settles down as the game starts.

We all sit on edge as we wait for Mahomes to throw the ball, I hold my breath as Pat throws the ball to Travis, Travis jumps in the air catching the ball, everyone in the suite is standing and cheering loudly, going crazy “RUN! RUN!!” Travis misses almost the three tackles before he throws his body to the endzone gaining the Chiefs a winning Superbowl touchdown. I jump up and down with tears on my face and hugging Kylie. 

I look on the jumbo to see Travis screaming in happiness and the rest of the team running on the field in joy and jumping on each other. We all are ushered down to the field by security. As we make it onto the field Travis runs up to his mom and hugs her tightly “Mama! Ugh I love you”.

I have to walk slower just to be safe with all the happy people, my security staff makes a path for me.

I see Trav standing and looking around for what I think is me. I walk up behind him and gently touch his shoulder, he swings around and a giant smile covers his face “Baby! We did it! Haha!, ooh come her mama” I laugh in joy as he plants a sloppy loving kiss on my mouth and holds me in a tight hug. Travis turns his mouth to my ear “Thank you for loving me and supporting me through absolutely everything, I couldn't have done this without you and her, I love you with everything baby!” he tells me making me tear up, I pull back and hold his head in my head while nodding my head “you never have to doubt my love and support for you, I got you till the end baby”. 

Travis slides his hand down to my waist onto the baby bump before getting called by Pat. I let go and rubbed his shoulders before nudging him to go up and grab his hat and trophy and talk to the reporters. “Go! I’m gonna go stand with your family and wait for you! Go enjoy this!” I tell him with tears still brimming in my eyes. He nods before placing a kiss on my forehead and bending down to place a kiss on the bump. He looks over at Jason and nods towards me, looking for Jason to help me walk over to the rest of the family safely.

We all stand to the side and watch as the team is raving in happiness. Travis walks up gets a hat placed on his head and handed the trophy to talk “All I’m gonna say is, I love my family, I love my wife and the support they all have given me” he pauses before smiling huge “oh and YOU GOTTA FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT, TO PARTY!!!!” He yells into the mic earning a laugh from all of us.

I stand arm in arm with Jason and Kylie before grimacing, Kylie and Jason look down at me in concern “What’s wrong?” Kylie asks discreetly, Jason turns to face me more and sees me trying to hide the pain. I shake my head before sighing “oh nothing, I think I’m starting to go into labor”. Jason and Kylie look at me shocked “what the hell you mean you’re in labor?” Jason says. “Did your water break?” Kylie asks, I nod my head “Yeah I started leaking a little fluid earlier when I went to the bathroom, you know the movies lied, it’s not always a gush of fluid” I say trying to make light. Jason shakes his head before laughing “Only you could try and joke about being in labor at the Super Bowl.”

“You’re in labor!?” I hear Travis say behind me, I sigh before turning around as gently as I can giving him a teasing smile. 

“Yeah, we’re gonna have a baby today” I smiled big at his stunned face.

I still can’t believe it, I never thought I’d be engaged to be married, ever considering my track record, But I guess the best things come when you least expect it to. Travis and his family coming into my life was definitely a blessing in disguise. There is no doubt I love my family but it’s a different feeling of love being accepted by your partner’s family. 

It’s been a few days since Travis proposed, the news outlets obviously already know and are spinning a bunch of theories every day. 

“They only got engaged because she’s pregnant”  “She gave him an ultimatum and that’s why he did it.”

Every day it’s something new, I know it is only because we have only been together a year but jeez, people get engaged after only being together for a few months, and a lot of the time those are the couples that are the happiest and stay together the longest. (In my opinion) Travis has been over the moon and telling pretty much anyone he can, even after a game in the press room, he finds any chance to bring it up, It is definitely the cutest thing to see him blushing on TV.  I even see it all over TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, you name it and it’s there.

We have been getting calls, and texts all day. Some from friends and family others, news networks, talk shows, and everything. It has been crazy. Travis and I are both doing talk shows, not together but a few days apart.

"You think these go together?" Travis has been inside the closet for an hour trying to find an outfit when he goes on Jimmy Fallon tonight.

I look up from where I lay on the bed scrolling through Tiktok, he’s holding a black suit set. “Ohh, that would look so nice, especially with your gold jewelry,” I tell him he gives me a smile in response hanging the outfit on the side for later “You are one amazing woman, you know that?” he smiles at me once more.

We both head downstairs to film a new episode of New Heights with Jason. We settle in the chairs, pull the headphones on, and wait for Jason.

“Hello hello, family!” Jason somewhat yells. I laugh at the face he makes before Travis and Jason get into their announcements and sponsors.

“Now we have two special guests today, my awesome and beautiful wife Kylie and our awesome sister-in-law Y/n!” Jason announces loudly earning a weirded and shocked look from Kylie “Oh my” she mutters smirking at me through the camera, I try to hold in my laughter behind my hand, “gotta love Jason’s enthusiasm” I tell them laughing. We talk about a few topics before Jason brings up the big one “Okay, I waited long enough to bring it up, can we please talk about the proposal?” he asks.

I look to Travis for agreement, after a brief nod and encouraging smile “Well It was definitely a surprise I’ll tell you that, we had talked about it and I didn’t expect him to propose a few weeks after that talk.” I laugh. I turn and face Travis “You know it was perfectly timed, as someone who didn't really see themselves getting married, I knew the second we met that she was either gonna be my wife or I would never get married to anyone else unless it was her.” He replies looking at me after. I tried to hide the tears forming in my eyes, I dab under my eyes “I love you so much” I tell him giving him a quick soft kiss.

 We turn to see Jason and Kylie both smiling wide. Jason was sporting the proud big brother look “When Trav came to me and started talking to me about how he was planning all of this, for one, I was shocked cause, for one I’ve never seen him talk so passionately about someone or something as much as his car collection, so It was so cool to see him do that, and two, I was just excited to be able to watch it happen in front of my eyes.” Jason says before turning his attention to Kylie “what did you think?” he asks her. 

She smiles “I for one was kinda just like thank god, he finally asked her and now I have my sister-in-law” she laughs “When Jason told me the plans I was ecstatic, It feels good to see you both happy.” she says in response. We give them both fond smiles “Aww, see and my biggest fear was everyone thinking we were crazy for doing this too soon.” I laugh.

“If I never met you and your family I would have thought the same thing but everyone can clearly see you guys are in love and like Travis said if it feels right then it’s right and you gotta take that chance when It shows itself,” Jason tells us. We talk a bit more and we say goodbye to them.

An hour later

Travis and I are in our closet getting ready to head out for his interview tonight with Jimmy Fallon, Travis wearing the black suit ensemble and me wearing something similar. 

We pull into the studio already seeing paparazzi surrounding the entire sides of the entrance to the studio. I huff trying to mentally prepare for the swarm about to happen, Travis leans over grasping my hand in pulling it towards his face giving the tops of my hands a chaste kiss. “We got this, and always remember I got you, baby,” he reassured me. I nod my head. He leans forward and opens the car door, the camera lights flashing like crazy before it doubles when I also come out of the car, the driver shuts the door and Travis guides me protectively towards the door, pushing back over pushy paparazzi.

We finally make it inside the building and we are met by a studio rep, they guide us to where we need to be. We chill in the studio’s dressing room before we are guided over to the studio’s main stage and seating area. I give Travis a kiss before he heads back and I open the door to where the audience is and where my front-row seat is.

I hear gasps flow throughout the room I look up to see the audience staring at me in shock “Hi everyone” I wave to them shyly. I hear quick responses throughout the room and sit down in my seat where a couple of younger girls are. I give them a smile before I focus my attention on Jimmy walking out onto the stage and sitting behind his desk. “Okay, we are live, in three, two, one” I hear the camera director announce. “Hello everyone, today we have a very special guest, please welcome the man, the chief king and big yeti, Travis Kelce!” he announces theatrically before the crowd starts to yell out and Travis works his way to his seat “Hello hello” he waves to the audience, winking at me, I smile in response. 

They talk a bit about his games, and about the new documentary Jason has made coming out soon. “Okay, now we all know there is something big that needs to be talked about,” Jimmy smirks, Trav laughs rubbing his bearded chin and nodding “Yeah, I have a feeling I know” he laughs. Jimmy laughs “okay we all know you recently proposed to your now fiance Y/n L/n” the crowd starts clapping and hollering as Travis blushes “Yeah, I got her to say yes, thankfully” Travis jokes. Jimmy laughs “okay, so tell us how it happened, how did you do it?” he asks “Well, I had started planning all of it a few months ago and had the ring for a while, and I decided to set up a small park that we always went to and had her favorite flowers scattered on the ground with those tea light candles and then I did it.” he tells them cheesing big. 

The crowd awws and hollers “oh my, well that sounds amazing.” Jimmy compliments, “So of course I have to ask cause everyone was talking about how too soon it was, do you think you did it too soon?” he asks. Travis smiles shaking his head “no, absolutely not, I knew it was the right moment and me and her are big believers in if it feels right take that jump cause we see too many people lose those opportunities and I can’t lose her.” Travis tells them gaining soft coos from the audience.

Jimmy is smiling softly at him “you know, you are so right, and I just want to say congratulations to you and I know you guys are gonna do amazing, I wish I could tell y/n so please if you can pass that for me” Jimmy laughs, Travis nods smiling “actually one second” he hold a finger up before standing up and heading off the stage to the audience and holding his hand out for me to grab.

The crowd starts to yell as Travis guides me towards the seat closest to Jimmy. 

We smile at each other and pull each other into a hug “Oh my god, I can’t believe your here? It’s so cool to see you again.” He tells me I smile “It’s so good to see you too, I mean I’m gonna be here next week so” We laugh and sit down. “This is crazy, So congratulations, how are you feeling?” he asks “Thank you! And very very good, I could not be happier” I smile at him.

We sit and talk a bit more before the show ends and we say our goodbyes to Jimmy, the audience, and the production before we head home.

It has been a few months now since y/n posted the photo and It has been nothing but amazing It feels like we just met yesterday but in reality, I realized it has been eleven months close to one year.

It has never been this way for me, every time I had gotten into a relationship it always felt like I was waiting for the inevitable, always knowing something was gonna happen that led to the breakup, or you know the usual, them going to the press and telling lies after the breakup trying to get me to look bad.

But ever since y/n and I have been together I would always stop and see if that feeling is there but it never shows, only pure adoration and love for her.

And of course, I told Jason that and you can already guess what the topic of conversation is right now where I sit in the office talking to Jason over video and filming a new episode of New Heights.

“So how has been with y/n so far?” he tries to throw it out there nonchalantly. I can already tell I’m blushing as I smile at him “Uh you know, we have been very good, just living life together and enjoying what we have.” I try to tell him without giving away any information. “Oh come on trav!” He says flinging his hands up, all I give is a laugh before Jason changes the subject to talking about the plot of Twilight, I tune him out a little bit as a joke until I see I have a few unread messages from y/n, I can hear Jason trying to get my attention but all I see are y/n’s messages asking if I’m busy still and if she can come bring me lunch from the other room.

“TRAVIS!!TRAVIS!!” I finally look up from my phone smirking “Sorry, very Important message I needed to respond to.” 

That is all I say to him, he gives me a look “Is it my awesome sister-in-law that is messaging you?” he smirks, thinking he got me all I reply with is “Yep” before I hear a small knock and the door slightly open. I look behind me to see my angel  “Is it okay for me to come in?” she whispers, I smile before trying to wave her in “Come on in baby” I tell her. 

She walks in with a small tray “Oh oh what is this?” I ask taking the tray and looking at it, she smiles “I made tamales with some horchata” she replies smiling. I look back in the camera and show Jason the tray “look at this!” I smile big. I see Jason look at the tray in shock and mock envy “oh my god, What I would do to be there right now, wait hold on where is she?, I gotta ask her a question”

I look over to where y/n stands by the desk, still off camera, I see the nervous all over her face as I wave her over “come on baby” As she finally comes closer to me I subtly grab her waist ushering her partially onto my lap.

 I give her a second pair of headphone “hey Jason” she smiles at him “hey girly, Was all of that homemade?, cause if so, kylie said we are all coming over for dinner” he says matter-of-factly. We both laugh and I see y/n now has a blush casing her cheeks “yes, it is all homemade, It is my grandmom’s recipe” I tell him “you guys can come over whenever you want I will gladly cook dinner and see the babies” She replies before getting up slowly “Okay I’m gonna go, I have to film some stuff for the documentary ” She leans down giving me quick emotional kiss before waving by to Jason before softly shutting the door behind her.

“Can I just say, you two are very whipped for each other, she has made you homemade food from her home country and you have reluctantly adopted a cat, that is wild to me.” He laughs smirking at me.

I blush a little underneath his knowing gaze “Look, like the kids say nowadays, the cat distribution system has chosen me and I can’t not accept it, once pasta showed up on the front porch I just had to take her” I explained laughing.

Jason gives me a confused look asking about what the distribution system is, we sit there for thirty minutes with me explaining it to him.

3 Hours later

As we finally finish up the episode and we say goodbye to each other, I head out to see y/n laying on the couch with pasta laying on her lap as she is scrolling on tiktok, I walk over and jump into the empty space next to her gaining the attention of pasta, she stretches before walking over to lay on me and fall back asleep. 

I look up over at y/n to see her already looking at me. She breaks the silence “do you know we have been together for about a year now?” she says. I give her a small soft smile “Yeah, it feels like yesterday I was trying to get the nerve to talk to you without stuttering.” I smirk.

She laughs reaching over to run her hand over my head before she turns a little more serious “I know we’ve had this talk before a few months ago but I just wanted to check in again and see if you still want that future?” she asks. I’ve told her before I’ve wanted to get married and have children sooner rather than later. I nod my head at her “I still do baby” I reassure her. But I can tell there is still something on her mind “With me?” she questions lowly.

All there is genuine shock on her face as she tries to mentally understand the last part of my sentence. “Let you know when?” He nods smiling big “you let me know when, and I’ll be there baby” All she can do is nod before moving to cuddle into where I am on the couch.

We are relaxing on the couch now watching a baking show she found randomly when I feel her stare from where she lays on me. I look down in question to see nothing but love in her eyes when all of a sudden.

“When” 

That is all she says before turning back to the TV as if she didn't just shock me to my core. I never wanted to say anything to her for fear we were moving too fast, clearly, I’m not. All I can think about now is finally taking the velvet black box out of the safe.

BIG MOMENT YALL!

“You don’t think I’m crazy?” I asked Brittany. After I basically told Travis I was ready whenever he was, I kept seeing moments where he might do it but then he didn’t. She touches my hands from where she sits across from me at the restaurant “No I don’t think you’re crazy, but I cannot say what he told Pat, I’ve been sworn to secrecy.” she laughs. I groan in annoyance “Ugh, all of this is nerve-wracking, It’s like I don’t know what to do with myself Like I’m twiddling my thumbs all day. In reality, I should be preparing for my Vevo performance” I tell her, taking a sip of my diet coke.

She claps her hands slightly “Oh my god, when is that?” she asks excitedly. “It’s this Wednesday, I’ll be filming all of the performances then it will be out publicly that Friday,” I tell her. We finish eating and decide to head back to my home.

Back Home

Waving bye as Brittany drives off I shut the door before making my way into the kitchen where Travis stands at the counter cooking ribs for us. I walk up to where he is putting my arms around his back, and cuddling into him “I missed you today” He rubs where my hands are connected to his stomach before turning to face me ”I missed you too, what’s you and Brittany do?” He asks “We had some drinks then just talked for a bit, what did you do today?” I asked him. “Just ran some errands for Pasta, got some groceries, and stopped by a few stores on the way home.” He responds.

I nod before reaching up and giving him a kiss “Okay, well I’m gonna head upstairs and write for a bit okay?” I ask him, and he smiles turning back to making dinner “Yeah, I’ll see you in a bit. Oh, by the way, we have that thing tonight okay?” he says. I look at him confused “What thing?” I question, and all I get from him is a smirk “A thing, just dress pretty and you’ll find out later tonight, now go, I’ll call you when dinner is ready”. Confused and standing in the doorway I give him a nod and make my way upstairs.

2 Hours Later 

Resting after dinner, lying on the couch, both of us scrolling aimlessly through TikTok.  “Alright, let’s go get ready” Travis breaks the silence, nudging me to get up, I look at him.

“What exactly am I supposed to wear for this event you won’t tell me about?” I question confused he smiles before pushing me towards the steps “Do you have a comfortable dress?” he asks, I nod my head before we both walk towards our sides of the closet. 

As I’m sifting through my dresses, out the corner of my eye I see him grab a nice dress shirt and pants before leaving the room to the bathroom. Weird cause he usually just changes in front of me. Shaking my head at his weird behavior I find a comfortable and flowy dress and a pair of sandals that match. 

I finish fixing my hair in the mirror and gather my stuff before meeting Travis by the front door. “Okay, I’m all ready,” I tell him, He grabs my hand pulling me into a hug, holding my face in his palms.

"I love you, you know that?” I smile fondly at him before nodding softly, I reach my palm up towards his bearded face “Yeah” I say softly. He nods his head before we break and he reaches behind me to open the front door, ushering me towards the car.

At the restaurant

As we sit down, we both glance over the menu before the waiter comes over to ask for our drink order. As the waiter leaves to grab our drinks we talk for a bit, about my Vevo performance coming up soon and when his next game is.

As were finishing up dinner, we started to walk out of the restaurant to the car "Hey, how bout we walk for a bit, that park I was telling you about is over here" Travis told me guiding us in the direction of the park. We stroll for a bit before we come across a clearing where I see Brittany, Pat, the kids, Jason, Kylie, the kids, and their mom with my mother standing next to her.

In shock I turn around to face Travis "Wha-?" he smiles big before guiding us past the family, who I wave to before he guides us to the clearing in front where candles are laid out with my favorite flowers scattered on the ground.

Travis moves in front of me before getting down onto his knee "Oh my god, is this real right now" I ask him laughing with tears starting to brew in my eyes. He laughs, nodding his head "this is definitely real right now baby" he tells me, I can see tears starting to form in his eyes.

"Baby, I never thought I would find someone like you, you came into my life very quick and very unexpected and I could never be happier. For some, this may seem way too soon but I believe that if you know it's right then go for it full force, no hesitation, I love you so much, and I can never see my life without you" He reaches in his pocket pulling out a black velvet box. He opens the lid "will you marry me baby?" he asks me.

I can see his hands shaking with nerves. With my hands covering my face I nod my head with tears in my eyes "I want nothing more than to marry you baby" I tell him. He takes the gorgeous ring out of the box slipping it onto my ring finger before standing up and pulling me into a bone-crushing hug and kissing me repeatedly.

We stand embraced before I finally hear the whooping and hollering from where the families sit. We look over without letting each other go to see Jason Jumping up and down excitedly with my mom who is crying hugging Donna. Me and Travis look at each other before bursting out into a belly laugh together.

We take a few pictures of ourselves before getting one with everyone before we clean up and we all head out for some celebratory ice cream.

It has officially been a year we have been together and engaged for two months. And It’s been absolutely amazing. Travis and I have been talking and trying to jot down ideas for the wedding and trying to get a head start so It can be easier for us later on.

Everytime we sit down and scroll and try to find ideas it has been nothing but overwhelming, there is a lot that goes into a wedding. Everytime we look at places or themes all I want to do is elope somewhere with our family but I highly doubt Travis would be down for that. Since I was a teenager I always thought a big wedding was too much,

Too much time

Too much money

When all the other girls would talk about their future weddings it would be all out with the most outrageous stuff but me on the other hand, I loved simplicity, even now that I’m more known everyone expects the big and extravagant event, I mean I’m okay with a small quick ceremony and then a party that is more out there afterwards for everyone but other then that, I crave the normality and the simplicity of it, and If I’m gonna get married once in my life It needs to be exactly how we want.

“Why do you look so focused?” Travis breaks me from my thoughts from where we sit at the dining room table, I look up from where I was staring into space on my phone. I shake my head putting my phone down I sigh “It is a little overwhelming I guess, I don’t know I just think I’m overthinking it.” I tell him. 

Travis nods his head slightly “what are you overthinking?” he questions “literally everything, the venue, the guest list, the food, hell even if we do round tables or not” I snort “who said we have to do any of that?” he tells me, confused “what do you mean?” I asked him “I mean, why do we have to do any of that, who said we can’t get eloped and then have a party afterward” he smiles at me before grabbing his phone heading to the couch “just think about it” he says.

I sit at the counter a little stunned before rushing after him “Wait a second!”. All I hear is him laughing as I jog after him.

Time skip—-

“Are absolutely sure about this?” I asked apprehensive to Travis, In return all I get in response is a smile that takes over his entire face. Travis grabs my face into his hands “I’ve never been more sure about this baby” We smile at each other before Travis turns back to the open laptop resting on his legs, he taps the screen confirming the payment for the marriage license, I turn to him squealing “oh my god! I can’t believe we just did that!” I jump on him plastering his face with small kisses, laughing from excitement.

I pull away “so that means we can do it whenever we want?” I question he nods his head in agreement “Whenever we want baby” I smile in acceptance before smirking “so that even means today?” I ask he turns looking at me shocked “you would marry today?” he asks like that’s even a question.

I nod “of course I would, that’s never up for debate” I tell him, now waiting for a response. He nods his head slowly before belly laughing, grabbing me into a full bear hug and scattering kisses all over my face as I laugh. He let's go, jumping off the bed pulling me with him.

“come on, let’s go, we are getting married today, I gotta call mom, dad and Jason so they know where to meet us” he runs off into the bathroom excitedly to get ready. I laugh before turning to pick up my phone to call mom. 

The call finally connects and my moms voice greets me “so, you’re never gonna believe what’s happening today” I tell her smiling.

Time skip—-

I stare into the mirror at my reflection, I’m wearing a simple white dress from one of the many award shows I’ve gone to. The door opens and I see my mom’s head poke in with a grin “hey, how’re you feeling?” she asks fully entering the room, shutting the door behind her. I give her a shaky sigh in response “I’m so nervous, what if he changes his mind?” I asked her.

Smiling she brings me into a hug “seeing how that man looks at you and seeing how he puts you on such a high pedestal, I have no doubt in my mind that man will never change his mind about marrying you” she tells me, I can see tears starting to cloud her eyes, “Oh mama” I say pulling her tighter into the hug.

We hug for a little longer before she moves out of the embrace and slightly shakes my shoulder “Okay, let’s go, we have my son-in-law waiting probably scared to death” she laughs. I smile before giving myself a once over in the mirror and we head to the door to the ceremony doors.

My mom loops her arm through mine as the doors open and I’m greeted with the small Kelce family on one side and a few of our friends on the other. We start to walk.

I smile at the girls, Kylie and Jason before my attention is brought to the podium.

Travis wears a black suit looking absolutely amazing. I could see the tears forming in his eyes from the doors, causing me to start tearing up as we got closer to him. As I step up onto the podium with Travis’s help, I greet the officiant with a smile. Travis grasps my hands in his warm ones.

The officiant gives a brief smile to the both of us “okay, let’s do this shall we?”. I look over to Travis once more “you sure about this?” I jokingly asks he belly laughs “Oh baby, I’ve never been more ready.” I nod turning to the officiant “let’s do this”.
