Was I Rude?
Let me start off by saying I’m able and a mom of a two year old. The other day my boyfriend, son, and I were grocery shopping. As I was chasing my son around the store, we came upon a service dog and it’s owner. My son immediately got my attention and was yelling “Dog! Dog! Dog!” I stopped him before he ran over and explained to him why the dog couldn’t play. I told him that the dog had a very important job and that he was helping his owner in the store. I told him he could say hi and wave but that he couldn’t bother the dog. We walked past and my son said hi very softly and waved to the dog and I smiled and waved at the owner… I’m now worried, was I rude? And if so, what do you recommend I do in the future?
Well @allsortsofkinky , we are in no way the disabled police, and don’t even own service dogs, so we really can’t say lol! 😂 And honestly, we try not to judge anyway. Don’t fret over it!
