If you could go back to one moment from your past, what would it be?

When I was a toddler, and my mother insisted on dressing me like a small clown. If only so I could make some ensemble changes.

Would you ever lie and cheat to rise in social status?

If my rise in social status was accompanied by a vast increase of wealth? Heck yes! I’ve been honest but poor for years, i’m ready for a change up.

It is unfortunate, but I’d let myself fall out of all of my creative habits over the past couple of decades, between non-constructive criticism, self doubt, and declaring myself “too busy.”

I’ve since decided all of that is nonsense and that I need to get back in the habit. This is something I’d like to get back to; while there is a lot of dust and rust, I’m hoping to produce some art once more. Red Dwarf. Hot Fuzz. Original stuff. Many things.

My hands (and my words) were clumsy then, and they are clumsy now, but to create is joy. I’d found that tape cover when I was packing to move house and remembered having such fun doing that. I can wish I hadn’t gotten lazy at the end, or wish I hadn’t given it up, but instead I will see if I can fumble about and capture that joy once more.
