Uhaa had not been paying attention to the actual occupancy of the weight room as he stepped inside. It was early in the morning and he typically trained as early as he could so that it was out of the way and he could focus on other areas. With his earbuds in, he was unable to hear anyone moving around, either, thus making it plainly obvious he had no idea what he was walking into. When he glanced up at the room out of habit more than anything else, he stopped at the sight of a woman standing there, looking over at him. Oh, shit.
He fumbled his earbuds out and paused his iPod, the loud music pouring tinny through the speakers stopping and leaving an awkward silence in the room. Feeling awkward, he laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. “So, uh, hey. Didn’t realize you were gonna be here.”
