Uhaa had not been paying attention to the actual occupancy of the weight room as he stepped inside. It was early in the morning and he typically trained as early as he could so that it was out of the way and he could focus on other areas. With his earbuds in, he was unable to hear anyone moving around, either, thus making it plainly obvious he had no idea what he was walking into. When he glanced up at the room out of habit more than anything else, he stopped at the sight of a woman standing there, looking over at him. Oh, shit.

He fumbled his earbuds out and paused his iPod, the loud music pouring tinny through the speakers stopping and leaving an awkward silence in the room. Feeling awkward, he laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. “So, uh, hey. Didn’t realize you were gonna be here.”

Zack smirked as he eyed the gorgeous Australian former Tough Enough contestant laying next to him in a pool chair, tanning her juicy ass. “Need some help?” He offered, checking her body out.

Chuck could say that getting wasted in bars during his traveling from show to show was not the usual for him and it would be a lie. God Himself would probably strike him down with a lightning bolt for telling it. It was not even the weekend and he found himself on a bar stool, intent on inhaling as much whiskey as he could before his memory fuzzed out and made it impossible for him to remember the events of the night. Retirement tour or not, it was far from a good time. He also kept on the look-out for women who might be interested in spending the evening with him. It was a hell of a way to spend the nights he did not have to wrestle, at any rate, and he was always up for a good time. Not hardly half the gentleman the name would suggest, but everyone knew at this point and he no longer tried to hide it.

Someone sitting down on the empty stool on his right drew his attention away from his shot glass and up to a woman he vaguely recognized, though from where he was not entirely sure. Killer cheekbones, long black hair, and more ink that he could see than he was used to seeing on women. Swallowing down a low whistle, he tossed back the shot of whiskey before spinning around in his seat and grinning at the woman, pleased at the very least he had kept up with his dentist appointment shit and had a nice smile to direct at her.

“Hey, pretty lady, what are you up tonight?”

The Rise of Queen Nikki

Though the reign of the Fearless Queen had only just begun, she had already taken the kingdom by storm, using her royal degree to mold it to her liking. Statues were being erected in her image, and all traces of the previous ruler permanently destroyed. 

Whether the inhabitants of the new regime appreciated their new leader’s way of doing things was not a question that was ever seriously entertained. If anything, those who opposed her were dealt with in kind. Not the least of these was Miles, who had found himself somewhat in the queen’s favor. He stood beside her as she sat in her throne, wielding a palm leaf which he wafted rhythmically in her direction to create a steady air flow. Other than that, he remained quiet.
