As he walked he checked on Sparx who was taking a ride in the front pocket of a coat he was wearing, cause he knew flying around would draw attention and someone would try swatting him. 

“Ya doing okay in there little buddy?” He said as he pet his friend on his tiny head and heard a cheerful buzz. “Don’t worry Spyro, I’m doing fine.” After a long walk, the glamoured human sat down on a bench to take a moment to relax before going onward.

She'd tracked him to the second's home, and with the aid of one of his allies, found herself in a fiery chasm waiting for their arrival.
