When I got home from Scope I had to hit the ground rolling working on a big piece for the @laartshow. I’ve also got a zillion projects to tie up before the end of the year, but I’ve found myself feeling very tired (and sad from the passing of my mom-in-law) so I stole a little time to make some specimens for my #mabsminiaturemuseum Hall of Entomology 💕🐞🦟🦗🕷🐜 The translucent wings on the spread beetles are my favorite. Prepping for 2017 shows has me thinking about the collections I’ve sold in the past. These are hand painted owl stones of mine from a summer show in 2016. My goal is to really surpass my quantities from past years! My owls change so often, so I can’t wait to see what my new ones look like all in one snap like this.
