While Haru does have the understanding that not everything in life is going to be as happy as he hopes for it to be, he doesn’t understand it completely. When he falls into despair or hits a low point in his life, he’ll hide it very well with his usual smile. When he finally “lets go”, he won’t stop crying until he lets it all out, even if he doesn’t understand just what tears are.

Rocky Road - If you could change something about your past what would it be and why?

Not much has been revealed about Hange’s past to pinpoint properly something but she finds no problem on throwing out tidbits of information on how she used to be— first, how she used to hate titans and possibly how traumatic her first mission in the recop cops was as to say she has not felt fear ever since then.

She seems okay with those events now but maybe we’ll never know if that’s totally true. She would rather not presence again the death of her comrades, that’s obvious.

Despite how she appears, Celes is actually really shy and hates being the centre on attention unless, of course, if it was back in the military when she would be barking orders around. When she’s not in control of the situation or she’s put on the spot, she’ll shrink away or feign confidence!
