Although we've come to the End Of The Road .....

Still I can't let you go...

Yea I know these are lyrics for a Boyz II Men love song. But its fitting for the nature of this letter/post/update..whatever you want to call it.

For the past 3-4 months. Aye Lifestyle/Ally Bea has been real quiet in this blog/entertainment world.

Before I get into the details of these past few months I would like to first apologize for that. I have had so many people asking me for links to music & videos and updates on their favorite brand and artists. Some I have personally helped out but I would like to apologize for not keeping the site up to date as I should.

Now .....

I started Aye Lifestyle in 2008 to provide an outlet for my city(NOLA) to stay connected to the rest of the world. I got tired of hearing "you guys are so late down there", I felt like if there was a place where one could go to stay updated on the artists and brands that are making moves then we wouldn't be so behind.

When I made the decision to start this lifestyle brand I never knew I would meet the people I met, go to the places I've been and ultimately learn so much about myself.

I have always known that the time would come were I would out grow AyeLifestyle.com (notice I said the site not the company) . When I say out grow I mean I knew the time would come where decisions would need to be made to take us to the next level or to just cut the lights out on the site all together.

The growing pains started last summer right around the time of the Heineken Wale concert that we helped promote. Our first corporate promotions was like my first hit of crack. I want to partner up with more companies and provide a higher level of entertainment on the site and in my city.

As the year went on I found myself becoming less and less interested in the new hot artist ,song or video and more interested in the story behind the new hot artist, song or video.

When the new year came about one of our very first mottos , "Providing you with the lifestyle you want and deserve" was in the forefront of my mind.

It was then I began to research ideas and avenues to make Aye Lifestyle better ultimately changing the makeup of AyeLifestyle.com.

But it was until one our supporters asked me where she could find the new Wale and Curren$y song and I had not a clue as to what she was talking about that I realized yes. I have come to the end of the road....

The Road of blogging that is.

So I ask you to bare with me. I am working to bring my vision for AyeLifestyle.com to life. I mean I am 150% hands on with this. I have decided to build the site on my own ( please say a prayer for my sanity) and even have partnered up with Al Beauti to design a new refreshing logo and apparel to go along with the new site.

I have been listening. I hear the things that you guys say you want in your entertainment and I will stop at nothing to make sure AyeLifestyle.com is your one stop shop.

Those who have fell in love with the blog site don't worry. it'll still be up on the new site. And yes artist I have gotten ALL of your submissions just give me a minute to clean out the inbox. If the music is out of date and I like what I hear then I will be contacting you.

So I ask.....
