Honestly the term "allyphobia" isn't very accurate. It's clear from the things I've experienced that certain people don't have a fear of allies, but rather an unfounded hatred of us! I've used the term allyphobia in the past, but I think it's more accurate if I [and the mackleminions] describe our mistreatment as ally-hate from now on.

it is my understanding that allies are straight people who are not only supportive of LGBTQ people, but actually defending gay rights…activists i guess. yes, decent human beings is still a better term but there you have it
I see. It sounds silly, though >.< Also, I don't get the hate towards them that I've been seeing a lot on tumblr, since they're being depicted as arogant, ignorant and exactly the opposite of the "decent human being" part.
