A Fashionable Statement 👔 Alma & Anders

“Okay, okay, OKAY! Alma, you don’t have to physically drag me!” Anders yelped as the brunette pulled him across an intersection on Newbury Street. “The overpriced clothes will still be there five minutes from now!” 

This was not the way Ders had intended his morning to start. Sure, Alma had always been a little... abrasive, and he knew that agreeing to a morning of shopping for casual clothes that were up to her standards might be both a mental pain and a strain on his credit card bill. Still, he didn’t quite anticipate the Alma’s attitude or her damn pace being so demanding. “You know, normal people usually start off a morning like this with breakfast, coffee, juice... sustenance in general,” Anders hinted, hearing his own stomach grumbling at him even though he’d eaten an hour before. “Let’s stop and get some eggs or toast at that brunch place. Or some of those breakfast sandwiches at Starbucks or something. I’m sure it won’t make much of a difference if we show up at 9:00 or 9:30....” he added, reaching out on a very dangerous limb. Ders knew he’d be a lot happier and more compliant if he got some more food in him, however, he wouldn’t put it past Alma to not really care. There was a mission at hand, one that she clearly cared about, and he was just interrupting it. Partially because he wanted his shopping partner to calm the fuck down, mostly because he felt like he was dying of hunger. “Please?” the hockey player asked nicely, batting his eyelashes. “I’ll buy you coffee. Hell, I’ll buy you 10 cups of coffee and some of those $3 a piece cake pops if you want them. Just feed me, Alma, I’m starving!”
