Loss And Rage

Loss and Rage, one of Almonihah's lost spirits. Formerly the Guardian Spirit of Theropods, they've become twisted by pain and anger into a spirit of rage and jealousy. [Commission] Ignis, for Almonihah

I struggled a bit with this guy. I had a heavy burnout and art block happen spring of last year and hit one of those rare snags where I just couldn’t make anything work, art-wise, and it shows in the early stages of this piece. Fortunately, Almonihah was incredibly patient and I was able to set it down for a few months, rebound, and then get back to it.

This month I decided to surprise my gold tier Patrons by upgrading their portraits from sketches to speedpaints! The first one is of @almonihahzrathanzon's dragon character, Ignis. I'm really happy with this style and how fast I was able to finish it (took about 2 hours total)! c: Thank you for supporting me, Almonihah!
