So close I should almost touch it.
Yet just out of my reach.
The colors so vivid, so alive.
Not a flaw in this piece of God’s work…
The face within has pastel pink cheeks!
Sparking eyes so dark they’re almost black.
Skin as smooth as a new born bay.
Not weathered with time.
Now wrinkled with worry…
