It's so nerve wracking yet so exciting at the same time

I wonder how it'll feel, will I be strong enough? Am I physically capable? Or will the labor go by so easily and fast, that I'll wish it took longer?

How will It feel to hold him? To kiss him? To smell his stinky smell? His stinky baby neck rolls? To feel his little hands wrap around my finger? To hear him breathing in his crib just feet away? To hear his cry?

To know that this life is mine, this baby is mine. I created a little human being. I made this with love. To know WE created a little life to protect, to care for, to show endless amounts of love to.

Are we ready? Is anyone ever ready? Will we be good parents? Will we be able to teach him to have a good heart? To have a good soul?

Will we raise him to be a good man? Will he be a good man?

Everyday I have a new question. A new guess..a new "what if" Everyday the fear inside me grows. So much can happen, so much can go wrong. So much can go right.

I just can't wait to hold him, and whisper I love you to him every night. To tuck him in. To kiss his little forehead. To have him fall asleep in my arms.

I love him and I haven't even met him. I love him and don't know what he looks like. It's a blind date where I'm already in love.
