I’m so happy to be a mom. I’ve been almost under a bus, weird documentary filming, and extreme sports , working through three almost near deaths that doctors were astonished I made it and raised a Disibility child. We make traditional hawaiian mix plate ; hawaiian plant base “fusion” like mum had growing up. Every time they make her a dish from another country brought to Hawaii, and a dish made specifically for Hawai’i by the new great Māhele of Hawai’i ( she said plantation transplants) . Mom learned to cook by men and gather from women and cousin, except for when she go with my papas. She eats what is grown here or rate elsewhere to make special medicine dishes that look like real food...cause they are. So when she lazy cook and clean kitchen she eats out , and eats all the carb? What’s carb Siri? And food she allergic too and it’s okay when she gets home to snack on food like mushrooms, leaves, fruits, roots, milled powder, preserves and ferment . ... ... Hotu island America have camps. We have fun training year round and at the end of two years Ho’oilo winter year and Kauwela summer year , we have #lonoikamakahiki Peace challenge festival where we conserve and harvest strictly to save our sustainable resources for summer and no killing or suffering of things ; and can prepare for challenges for our selves and values.
